The big “bolt plug” you threw the adjustable wrench on is a 22mm. Make it much faster with a socket then that wrench.

really use a lot of gasket sealer i used a tub and a half after the first gasket leaked in the front it seems like a lot but there is a big void in the front that needs to be filled with sealer

When I first tried this I pulled out the wrong unit. I thought it was the engine break cluster so no luck. Never had the engine break work in this truck. No Jake light on the dash.Today my bunk cluster started to go out on 2 lights in the back.i read it's from the condensation and sure enough my ac pipe is soaked. I'm parked so I don't know if the engine break will work.

Thanks Im right in the middle of changing head gaskets on my jeep and found 3 of these loose in there oddly just on the driver side Thanks again I couldnt imagine taking the valve cover off twice a month thats insane!!!

Man such a shame… I have the SAME EXACT issue here. Did what you have done and more and cannot reverse it. Any info is appreciated: No engine brake or cruise control Flashers rear and sides stay on No dome light 2016 freightliner Cascadia 13 speed manual. Can’t find any blown fuses, have unplugged and cleaned a bunch of sensors with battery relay off.

On my 2000 Dakota RT a turn to unlock and hold, and in about 5 seconds it will disarm.

First step, inspect the old lash ajuster, usually they have wear at the bottom, i believe the lash ajusters/lifters are at the top and they might still have clearance because the lifter bore is worn out at the bottom

I would say that low oil / too thick of oil are a cause of this rocker popping off problem. I plead the 5th on how i know....

For the newer models… it’s not this simple due to the extra plastic and metal framing in the dash area. I tried a coat hanger, it would work if you had something sturdy enough but the hanger was really flimsy. Touched the unlock button several times. Frustrating, called locksmith
