I have been going back and forth for a while now on trying this pump! I have used a Red Holley, then multiple Blue Holley pumps and I just cant wrap my head around this Carter Pump can perform and provide the fuel needed when it can be found new for less than $100... and these Holley's are up around $200. I dont care about the noise on my 86 monte carlo with 454 bored .030 over, I just need a reliable pump as I currently need to replace another Holley Blue!! Great videos and congrats on an awesome sale.

Unless you are using your car for a racing application, the standard Carter fuel pump should work fine. I was not happy at all with the Holley or Edelbrock fuel pumps, they were just too loud. Even properly installed and muffled and whatnot, they were just far too loud and I hated it. So that's why I went to this Carter pump, and I was thoroughly pleased with it. And it should do fine for your needs.

I got a virago 535 and it’s running on one cylinder it starts up with both then after I give it some gas the second one shuts off and it only runs on one I’ve changed the oil and oil filter I’ve changed the air filter I’ve changed the spark plugs I’ve changed the fuel filter and I have no idea what to check besides the carburetor

swap the spark plug wires, and see if that makes a difference. there's a chance that your spark plug wires are bad, or incorrect for your model, anything is possible.

@adariousjones9306 You need (at minimum) a new compressor. But likely everything you need. Will not be cheap. Mine was not warm.

As someone in sales who is dependent upon the crazy physical labor of people like this, I always greatly appreciate their work and always offer to help with things I can. Thanks so much for this video. We bought one of these in 2020 and yesterday was our first long power outage (thankfully only 7hrs). I'm learning today how to get this thing up and running in case the power goes out again. Someone needs to know so might as well be me.
