No unfortunately. Stopped in 2011. If you want something newer similar then look at the Africa twin or crossrunner.

You say, you‘re rather into adventure-touring, but hey, what would you think, if you just need a bike for the street? Could this be your choice or would you choose an another one?
@ontheroad22795 жыл бұрын
For me mate yer i do love adventure bikes. Tracer is a great bike and so much value for money. But if i was to bike for work etc i would have a maxi scooter of some kind or a honda grom.
@joaumn36425 жыл бұрын
On The Road a scooter is not an option... i need a motorcycle to replace my 16 year old zrx 1200s. I like that bike, but its quiet heavy and doesnt have any electronics. My next bike should do touring and sports as well... not on the racetrack, but on the alps (they are not even an hour away from home) So it should have a very well handling. What do you think? Other options could be the Kawasaki Versys 1000 or the Africa Twin.
@ontheroad22795 жыл бұрын
Alps!? Where do you live? Afica twin is made for off road and you have to be really tall. If you want value for money test ride tracer and vercys however tracer nicer and you get a quick shifter. Bmw gs adventure i would go for but expensive.
@joaumn36425 жыл бұрын
@@ontheroad2279 i am from bavaria. i don´t need offroad, that´s why i go for a tracer or a versys. BMW GS is not an option, because i dont like the boxer motor.
@harrykuntz8785 жыл бұрын
I was warned to be very careful with a pressure washer on a bike as it can wash the grease out of the wheel bearings and swinging arm linkage bearings and where ever and also go into wiring connectors keep well back with it . the Varadero 1000 are a fantastic bike .
@ontheroad22795 жыл бұрын
Great advice. When i use the pressure washer i constantly keep it moving never focusing on one area and also not doing it to close. I have to agree vara is a amazing bike!

@@ontheroad2279 I subscribed you got a great channel keep making the videos and good luck with it your fly by to demonstrate the dominator cans fills my heart with pride to own a Varadero mine sounds just like that under neat Its just muffled by the stock cans LOL it is without a doubt the best Varadero video I have ever seen it makes me grin from ear to ear you should post it on the international honda xl1000v Varadero group on facebook . it would be a deep winter tonic for Varadero owners who have the winter blues .

Deffo get them stock exhausts off mate. They weigh a ton! Makes the bike so much lighter and only around £250.

You can use a pressure washer but stand a distance back, use it to just lightly shower the bike rather than blast the bike....thats what i do anyway works all the same but i also use the soft brushes etc intended for motorbike cleaning 👍

You compared to your adventure bike which is what? You mentioned the small TFT screen, but is it clear and functional? You mentioned it small compared to what you're used to, you're not testing the bike, you comparing to what you're used to. What you don't like about the bike others would have no problem with it.
