@@snowstormcrafts8558 please don't be offended by this question but do you have any interesting stuff that you can send to me? I want to start journaling but I don't have the tools to do it like glue, hole punchers, or anything to bind the books with. I'm a single mother of a 3 year old little girl and have no job or car. My fiance/little girl's father was shot and killed March 25th 2023. I don't want to leave her just yet for work because she needs me. Is there any way you could help me out with some glue, a hole puncher, and the needle and thread I need to bind the journals? I really want to do this so bad! 😭😭😭😭 I apologize for the long message.

Hey! Yah! It's been a while! Not much . How about you? It's been a minute. Hasn't it? 🤔 I have had alot going on . 1. It's been hotter than hell here lately for over a month. 🥵🥵🔥🔥 It's been nothing but in the mid to upper 90s here! I haven't been able to do nothing outside in my garden. I did clean it out when it was cooler. But that didn't last long! I tried to grow sunflowers 🌻 but they never came up because it's been so dam dry here. Sucks. 2. I had to get a new hot 🔥 water 💧 heater put in . That took a while. Glad that's done. 3. I've been getting other things done around this monstrosity of a house inside where it's cooler but I still sweat even with the Central air on! That's menopause for you! 😬😐🤷♀️ 4. A nieghbor of mine died in May. Don't remember if I told you or not, I apologize for the repeat. Anyway , his daughter had an estate sale and I bought lots of stuff. Some for crafting too. Old books 📚. I'll use them, and a bookcase that'll come in handy for me organizing my craft room. Some puzzles and other things. I went to the funeral too. God I miss Joe. His wife died in January. So I'm glad they're together now. He had tons of tools in his garage that some reseller that has a shop up the street bought all of it and someone else is gonna send it all to auction. Very sad 😔 That's Life. 4. The doctor upped the thyroid meds. Takes a month to feel better. 😐😬 5. One of my cats Judy had to have her yearly exam at the vets. Poor baby has started having the dreaded kidney disease. All her bloodwork is okay except she's going to get an ultrasound to see if she has cancer or not. I hope not. It's upsetting me . I pray it's not. Then Lola has to go on the 6th to get her mats shaved and her yearly exam too. I'm gonna start brushing her . Whether she likes it or not. She's gonna get brushed. She'll attack me after 5 minutes. 😂 little shit. Then my other two gotta go too. Mr. Rogers needs his teeth cleaned and an exam. Dr. Zivago is the healthier one . He's younger. I hate that he kills rabbits and mouse 🐁 and leaves them on my driveway or doorstep, thinking he's giving me a gift. I'm not happy 😕 I keep telling him don't keep murdering animals! What does he do? Yup. Kills again. Goes in one ear and out the other with that boy. 😕😐 🤷♀️ Typical man. 🙄😁 That's it. Sorry for the long novel post letting you know what's up. Life is hard . *Sigh* love those dolls! As soon as I get my craftroom situated, I'm going back to crafting! My only sanity . 🤣 Love to Patty and Ruby. Hope they're okay and you as well. Ttyl! Peace ✌️ out! 😁

So glad to hear from you. It has been super Hot here as well, we had that heat wave come through when it was 105 for like 5 days. Thank goodness for the AC and pool. Love all your cats names super cute. Rudy and Patty are doing great spoiled as ever. My husband loves the name Mr. Rogers that is great name for a cat. @snowstormcrafts8558 Thank you 😊 Mr. Rogers popped into my head when I rescued him. The other 3 are all rescues too. From my street believe it or not. Idiots just throw these angels out and I collect them. 🤣😂 They find me then invite thier friends too. Just like the squirrels and birds. 🤣 I fed one squirrel peanuts, soon , 4 more of his friends came along for the party 🥳 🎉 😄 🤣 Oh I forgot. The Syracuse Nationals are here at the fairgrounds. Tons of people come here to showcase thier old cars they've worked on to restore . It's really a cool event. It's mobbed. People come from all over to display thier cars. I'd go, but I don't like crowds and it's been too hot 😫 This event goes on every July. So alot of stuff goes on here in the summer. Next month our State Fair starts it's 10 day run. I might go for one day. It's alot of walking. 300 acres. You gotta wear super comfortable shoes. Yes I love your dolls. You amaze me with all your ideas you keep coming up with. I hope you make a video of how you make them. Stay cool now. Can't wait for your next video. 😁 Give Patty and Rudy a kiss 💋 for me.

Would coffee grounds work? With stained cloth napkins 💡 Flour sac towels

Yes, I usually have about an inch of coffee left in my pot at the end of the morning. I sometimes just stick some random lace or cheesecloth etc. into the pot. swish it around and pour it out on a cookie sheet, baking pan... then I sprinkle the grounds from the filter on it and let it sit overnight and dry. once dry I rub it to get the grounds off. if I need to rinse it then I usually iron first to try to heat set the color. but I try to not rinse it. you will loose a little color.

Do you wash the fabric after stainin?

I do not. You will lose the coffee color each time you wash it. Hope this helps.
