Couple of notes. - do before the bench top goes on - be mindful of where the screws for the draw itself assembly are. - I used 2 x 1mm packers same same really. - after predrill use a countersink bit aswel for a clean finish. Finally absolutely awesome product 5 outta 5 for me

I measured my own just to ensure it lined up with the existing cabinets, very fidgety but got there using the adjustable screw slots. I’ll be installing guides at the top to help minimise the wobble, maybe some hard plastic or the like as I’ve hear a lot of these fail.

So frustrating...the lack of instructions makes one doubt oneself...shouldn't be so hard...end panels not included...bunnings staff should advise of this...or on box. Place front end or numbers to simplify...

why is there no way to insert a double sink with draining side board? this is stupid.

Annoyed with the little steel tab at the rear of each drawer side. It's not easy just to "push the tab into the side of the drawer bottom". I've had to use clamps in order to force the tabs in. Harder on the 900 wide as i don't have a clamp that wide. Can't use a hammer either as the side gets in the way of striking straight on. Anyway got everything together in the end. Mostly pretty easy.

what are the joining parts under the bench, as they have not come with my benchtop, do you have to purchase these separately?

What about were the end panel is at the end of a bench were the wall isn’t square? Do you plane the back end so it sit flush against the wall or so it’s 20mm at the front?

Using the Kaboodle 3D planner for my laundry in my garage. We are adding a toilet room at one end and need the exact distance the units will span so we can build the toilet room so that all the wall units from from one end of the garage wall fit perfectly into the space bounderied by the toilet wall. However when we add up the width of each unit PLUS the required end panels we get a slghtly different measurement than the kaboodle planner, which has added 19 extra mm in a total laundry span of 4600mm. What are the random 3mm, and 9mm additional spaces the 3D planner added to that distance??? Surely the distance is just the sum of the all the widths of the units + the 18mm end panels??

Now do it with a 5 hinge linen door. Every fixit guy says these hinges are crap and pop off at random.

Interesting that we had our kitchen designed by bunnings (visit to our home), and the end panels were not included in the plan?

I think the part about finding the lowest point is unclear. It’s important to note the base end panels are stock standard height. So, really what should be said is to find the lowest point and work out the height difference to your starting corner then minus that from 865. That way when you get to the low point that panel will not be too short. Of course you will need to plane any other end panels to suit

Why are the end panels not included? We used one of these kits around 9 years ago and butted it against the next cupboard not knowing there was another part required.

Should you finish the bottom with anything if you plane it to avoid water damage?

How do you attach wall cabinet door handles if you don't want the handles vertical?

Would have been nice if you mentioned that the back panel should be rebated by 16mm, Even the assemblers in this video got it wrong as you can see where they have drilled a 2nd row of holes to attach the back panel. You only mention this in the video for the blind corner cupboard. So by omitting this you havent made the process easy at all....

Some of your videos say to start from the lowest point, while others suggest start from the highest point. I wonder whether this is a terminology difference. When you say start installing the base cabinets from the lowest point, would it be possible to clarify please? Do you mean the lowest point as in the shortest distance from the marked line on the wall to the ground (therefore the area of the floor which is actually the highest part in the room)? Thank you so much.

When applying the oil to the side faces, a ridge line 1-2mm wide may form on both the top and underside edges of the benchtop. Use the applicator to gently smooth over these raised lines before it hardens. If the oil does form a drip mark or ridge, it can be sanded back using 120 grit. Best advice is be careful!
