How much does the new kettlebell handle weigh?
@IronmasterPro2 ай бұрын
Hi, the new kettlebell handle is 12.5 lbs without the locking screw. 15 lbs with the screws. This is a 10 lb drop from the original screw. We plan to make the new adjustable KB available in July.

@IronmasterPro Got my wife the original and it's a bit too heavy. This will be perfect. She didn't like the IM dumbbells, so I got her nuobells. I noticed she uses the IMs mostly now because she can microload as little as 0.25lb with rubber micro plates.
@IronmasterPro2 ай бұрын
@@myyrkezaan That's good to hear! Do you have our microplates yet too? They're 1.25 lbs each.
@myyrkezaan2 ай бұрын
@@IronmasterPro Yes, bought those when I got the IMs. I was rehabbing a shoulder/bicep/tricep injury and the 1.25lb was too much of an increase at the time so had to go lower.

Thanks for the input. We will look into this more and leave a follow-up note. If it is poor mechanics for shoulder health we will find out! I’ve seen both grips used and never heard any callouts before.

UPDATED: @wiseonesun // Thanks again for the comment. I checked out a couple of resources, one of which is the @TheFlowingDutchman (akzfaq.info/get/bejne/qJpyZZdj0Me4Xas.html). In short, any grip is good for training, the more variation the better really. @strongman_dan 's grip is the more stable grip, and probably ideal for heavier weights like this. The one exception may be in competition where the same grip needs to be used for each revolution; although, I'm not certain which grip would be used in that environment. Like anything, there is a lot of information out there and I'm sure different schools of thought; but with technology, we get to easily enjoy conversations like this. Thanks again to Dan as well, we're grateful you attended Home Gym Con and gave our mace a swing (and some feedback), regardless of the grip chosen; it was awesome.

Add a plate people, don’t do it on a flat surface

We agree. Charlie didn't have our calf block when filming this, but a plate would work too. Thanks for the comment.

I was on the fence about this for a few months now. I literally own every single attachment for the Super Bench Pro v1, as well as 120lbs DB set from Ironmaster. The only thing I didn't have was the new PRO Stand. Price is steep, even by @IronmasterPro standards, but I really need a stand that I can wheel around my workout room. The ability to put all the screws and weights, plus the DBs themselves on one unit is great. Hopefully the quality lives up to the rest of the equipment! I'll see when mine arrives this week.

Hi @brentgath4446, congratulations and excited to hear you pulled the trigger. Please send an update once you have had a chance to use it. Plus, we'd enjoy seeing some photos on Instagram (please tag us!) if that is an option for you. Cheers 💪 Team Ironmaster

Is it better than the Titan Stand. ?
@IronmasterPro6 ай бұрын
Hey David! In short, yes. It is built specifically for our Quick Lock system screws and weight plates, to hold all of the add-on kits, etc. The Titan stand would not be recommended for use with our adjustable dumbbells; a flat surface is required to efficiently make weight changes.
@davidarchangels65006 ай бұрын
Is this the latest stand from IM...
@IronmasterPro6 ай бұрын
@@davidarchangels6500 Correct. It is a completely different solution from the original stand, as it accommodates all of the add-on kits, plus room for kettlebells.
