Might be a long one, but would you do What if you Talked in Final Fantasy 14? Could be very entertaining.

I think I figured a few things out about Rambley, but I could be way off the mark for the game canon. A lot of this is deduction taken from the backstory and in-game behavior, with some guesswork. It’s more than likely he’s an AI with a high degree of self-awareness. He could override some of his constraints, but his own internal logic knows why those constraints are in place. The processing power requires a pretty big data center. Effectively, Rambley’s core logic (his digital mind) is capable of tracking and addressing the needs of every park visitor in realtime. To him, he sees every visitor one at a time, but incredibly quickly, and he can pass every action and response to a subsystem to handle the needs of a visitor or cooperation with a staff member. To a visitor, they see a Rambley avatar to which the Rambley AI gave a script to run. To Rambley, he’s taking care of lots of friends, and he has inexhaustable energy and speed to handle it! He evolved his own personality and actually enjoyed his purpose. His evolving personality may explain why he’s so irritated about Lloyd. Rambley’s long-term memory is only partially photographic, due to the limits of admittedly HUGE volumes of storage space. Rather than remember everything about every human, he starts with some human archetypes and attaches the unique information. When a visitor returns to the park, Rambley can use identifying information to rebuild his idea of that particular visitor. An AI can survive power loss and come back as long as there’s enough storage for the core logic and experiential memory. It experiences power loss depending on the circumstances. A clean shutdown (say, for hardware repair or maintenance) is like deep anesthesia, while an unexpected power failure is like being hit on the back of the head. So, no Rambley Skynet. However, with fewer and fewer techs around, shutting himself down isn’t an option, because there’s nobody to turn him on! (Cue the Mollie slashfic.) So, he powers down as many peripheral systems and excess servers in his data center as he can. Now, fast forward from the park closure about 8 years. Oh, and here’s an interesting fact…the service life of a CMOS battery is about 5 years, depending on the battery and the mainboard. Ed shows up. Rambley starts bringing some more servers online to expand his processing power, but some have weak CMOS batteries, some have dead CMOS batteries. Effectively, he ends up with a bunch of system clocks that aren’t reading properly, and he hasn’t brought his outside comm lines online yet (so no network time). So, he makes a best guess. At least he got the date right within ±7 days or so. And the great thing is, Rambley doesn’t need to worry about having his data center fully powered, because he can directly follow his new human ally. As a powerful AI, Rambley has some behavioral constraints. They aren’t cognitive, meaning Rambley is free to think. But Rambley was also coded to be insightful, so during his service life, he knows WHY those constraints are important, but in an emergency, he can override them. Mollie found that out the hard way. It’s also how Rambley was able to treat Ed as a visitor/ally rather than a trespasser. However, no matter how robust the software and hardware are, many of the systems have been powered down. Batteries are dead, software is corrupted. Rambley’s dealing with one huge glitch fest. (Ever seen a Glitch-Life randomizer video in Half-Life? When a system needs repair and recovery, that’s what Rambley experiences in that system until he can recover the software.) In theory, Rambley could upgrade Ed to a “Royal Rangler,” but he needs to reactivate and restore the security server that handles that function. That’s about it. Now watch as Indigo Park chapter 2 comes out and the events in gameplay completely shred my exposition to pieces.

I just finished Bioshock last night after 2 years of my original PC playthrough being unfinished cause of a STUPID softlock that happened towards the final areas of the game, but this was GOLDEN to watch after it ALL! I find an interesting pretty much in the future Humanity can move faster than light using wormhole technology which is much faster than warp speed( warp speed is 10 times the speed of light) and for the record I have the gas from wormhole speed might be a thousand times the speed of light or a million times but you can allow you to do pretty much go anywhere in the entire universe for example you can go to the center of the Galaxy in about a month but if you use warp technology it would take millions of years. I watched your Stanley Parable video and couldn't stop laughing. You brought something new to a game I thought couldn't give me anything new. It really fit with the game's narrative. Some other videos I thought were to out there. I couldn't believe it actually could be the character or a version of them. But this one is phenomenal. Really fits in with the narrative and feels like he is part of the world. Just some personal criticism. Both my positives and my negatives about your content. In the end it's important to do what you like first. People will enjoy it to.
