I was born in 1977. I grew up listening to Harry Chapin and to my father playing his songs on guitar. He is by far my favorite music artist of all time. No one is able to tell stories like he did. I wish I could have seen him live. As others mentioned, he truly belongs in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

I was about 8 in 1971 and heard 3dog night on am radio and asked my Mom if I could get their record. I didn’t have the money for an album and bought a 45.

I saw Terry for first & last time in ‘77 at LA Forum for the XI tour. Then caught them w/ Donnie Dacus for the Hot Streets tour at the Greek in 1978. This line-up w/ Dawayne Bailey is probably their best.
