the tether ensures that the wheel does not become an uncontrolled projectile that could hit other road users.

@@EUCLimburg thanks for this i am aware of the reason to tether, but was more interested in where he anchored to his body and the length of the tether, would you happen to have this information?

@@frederickoparah1669 At the start of the video you can see that he has a belt arount his waist where he anchored the leesh with a carabine hook. At the end of the video you can see that his leesch is about 1 meter and hooked to the borrom bolt of the schock.

because this it seems not so great idea to cram so many people cruisin together or let alone drive in the middle of the road. every self balancing unit is lone wolfs transportstion method and not for traffic or mass events.

Yes, because he was thrown over the wheel, the back of his head hit the ground hard. He was also a bit dizzy after that fall. A good light helmet with a good chin strap is certainly not a luxury in our sport.

Hey ik heb een vraagje in nederland zijn de EUC's illegaal ik wil eigenlijk mijn eerste euc kopen ik woon in een dorp en daarmee kan ik makklijk naar mijn werk denk je dat je snel gepakt wordt voor het rijden erop of valt dat mee? en via waar kan je bij een groep aansluiten net zoals in deze video lijkt me erg leuk!

Hoi Wilmer. In NL mag je er niet mee op de openbare weg, het is helaas nog altijd illegaal. Als woon werk vervoermiddel zou het ideaal zijn of voor the last mile en openbaar vervoer, maar helaas is het in NL nog steeds illegaal. Als je er dagelijks de zelfde woon werk route mee gaat rijden is het wachten op en aanhouding boete en in beslagname van het toestel. Wij rijden dus onverzekerd en buiten de wet!

however, it also depends on what tyre you have on. Some tyres have much sturdier sidewalls and can drive with lower PSI.

I use 40-45 for offroad and jumping, I don't want to dent my rim. And I am only like one half american in weight, so 80 kg.

je verliest wel 80% van de slag omdat het wiel op rubber stond, ik laat de band leeg en leg hem plat en dan andere kant een klok hout eronder en zo heb je meer controle over de kracht die je overbrengt op de rim

@@Martin-pi9xq only a more powerful motor+battery+controller would help. If you overpower a system, it will give in, that's entirely inevitably.
