Agree with you on the cow pasture issue. I’ve come off a number of maps after finding these restricted pastures for cows, sheep and occasionally horses. There’s so much choice now that, imo, you can afford to be a little fussy over where you choose to spend your hard earn time.
@DeepSkyFarms14 күн бұрын
I was playing on a newly released map last night and I found something that's worse for me than cows with tiny pastures - static cows! I get why map makers do it to save fps (this was a 16x map, so fair enough), but seeing a pasture full of plastic looking cows was just creepy. Hopefully FS25 makes animals wandering around less costly in terms of resources.

I’m a huge fan of ERShaba’s spanish style maps in both FS22 and FS19. I’m so glad you’ve chosen to pick up on this one as very few content creators have run extended plays on his maps, exploring all the production opportunities, forestry plantations and quarry sites he includes. Looking forward to following along as I’m also playing on this map. Also, really like the long recording sessions. With thanks from the UK.

Thanks! As I said before, I'm a fan of longer format recording myself as well, the limitation is hard drive space and editing time.

The hard part is going to be keeping from being distracted by other maps lol. I really like this one though. I'd like to leverage the silage production into a pistachio grove next.

In my game the pump stops working if I leave the tractor...
@DeepSkyFarmsАй бұрын
Do you have Automatic Engine Start turned on? That may be the issue, as the tractor would shut down when you exit the cab.
@HaippitusАй бұрын
@@DeepSkyFarms Nope, the tractor engine keeps running, the pump has power, even the hoses twitch like stuff is flowing but as soon as I exit the tractor the flow stops after a second or two. Im trying to pump slurry straight out of the barn into a liquidmanure storage pool, if I connect the hose to a slurry tanker or spreader it works as intended... I downloaded this mod to semi-automate the process of emptying slurry out of the barns as I have 4 large cow sheds and two large pig enclosures, so far I've been using the largest slurry spreader as it's the only way that can fill the liquidmanure pool... very time consuming.

Love that you're equating the fun you're having on MasonCo against Middleburgh. An appropriate comparison if I do say so.

I like maps where there's stuff to keep you busy and engaged, and both of these maps hit that button. I'm sort of looking at Middleburgh again and thinking about maybe doing a forestry heavy build on it.

It’s a good choice for a map location. I tend to gravitate towards maps based on real locations. Court Farm is another good example of this. Where I grew up in Northern Ontario the area was settled mostly by Finlanders and Eastern Europeans who worked in the gold mines and in forestry. Sadly, I haven’t had a decent cabbage roll since I moved away :/
