Just saw them in August and man it absolutely rocked. One of the best shows I've seen. When they played March of The Fire Ants the shit hit the fan and it was awesome.

They kind of did this in Dallas too, I think it's because they switch who plays first and second on the tour so by the end of Mastodon's set everybody was wiped from Lorna Shore and Gojira before.

The "hey hey" thing was something Thomas did too, It's something that almost every singer does at metal concerts. Also, Thomas was only better than him in the studio recordings, his live voice was frankly terrible.

Thomas isn't that great of a singer. He's okay at best, but has the benefit of a distinct voice. Sozos has way better range and control, but also a much more 'vanilla' voice. Honestly I like them both

They are playing locally in VA but while I’m away on vacation sadly. No other dates close enough to me while I’m home unfortunately, so no Tom for me this year I guess!

I still can’t believe they performed so many older songs & 4 from Leviathan, which was my introduction 2 the band. I try not 2 look at setlits b4 I go 2 shows, I like 2 be surprised. I literally stopped recording seconds b4 Joe came on stage, great way 2 end a killer night!

I also like being surprised, but I also want to know which songs to rehearse, because singing along makes shows twice as enjoyable. That being said it was a VERY nice surprise to hear the amount of oldies they busted out right after each other!!!

It was a killer show for sure. Even though I’m not a fan of Lornashore I thought they gave a good performance and sounded good. If my wife hadn’t gone with me I probably would have been down in the pit but glad I sat in the seats right behind the soundboard but to the left. The visual show from both Gojira and Mastodon was wirth being further back
