Tip: By closing one eye, either the left or right, and then focusing on an image, either right or left and opening the eye again, you automatically get the 3d effect. NOTE: This only works with parallel 3d images, not cross-eye 3d images, as cross-eye gives an inverse 3d effects. Recently discovered the method, feel free to try! I like your video! :-)

Had a chance to check this out using a pair of AR glasses and it looks good! I assume you were risking your cameras(and your life) here with all that water!

Thanks for viewing this with AR glasses. I was slightly risking my cameras. The two cameras are on a gimbal and the gimbal is attached to a monopod ( about 2 metres long ). I lowered the cameras down using the monopod. Can you please tell me what AR glasses you used and did you connect them to a smartphone using the USB-C cable. Are they good for viewing stereo 3d content. I am trying to understand how this works for stereo 3d.

@@brianflint133 I bought the Viture Lite glasses since they are touting direct support of Spatial Videos from the iPhone 15 Pro. It's pretty nice. KZfaq 3D playback is quite impressive. It plays all flavors of 3d on KZfaq, Half SBS, SBS and KZfaq 3D. Having said that, the navigation and typing is challenging and tricky. (As good as the SpaceWalker app is ). I have to try how stills work.

@@brianflint133 Outside of the Viture Space Walker app, it works like "an external display" on the iPhone. When I launch my Flickr photo app images appear and if I encounter SBS photos, I just have to long press a button for it to cycle to different modes of 3D. It took a second for my eyes to adjust to that.

What camera/lens are you using here?
@brianflint133 Жыл бұрын
I have a Bridge camera ( Sony RX10iii ) and I put onto the lens of this camera a close-up lens ( achromatic ) so that I could focus closer to the bugs. This clip was filmed in 4K and the camera was hand held. As such it was difficult to keep the image steady. So I used the stabilization feature in the video editing software ( Davinci Resolve ).
