Great content Jack. I'm trying to get my head around why you are worse off being VAT registered, I thought you would actually be better off as can claim the VAT back were as when not VAT registered you can't.

People say you shouldn’t create your own generic listings but I’ve been doing it and it’s been working fine. What do you think Jack?

Great tips Jack. I definately find life a constant battle sometimes, deflated and unfocused with the day job as itching to get started doing my own thing but lacking clarity on direction. Too much clutter in my study, Diet could be better as drink way too much coffee mainly due to boredom, which that and lots of ideas in my head causes sleep problems and finally lack of exercise during the week. I use to be super active before having our son, running, climbing, cycling and swimming but now a days do nothing during the week. Only exercise is trips out at the weekends as a family. Life kinda feels like stuck in a rut, fortunately I do have a good job so not all doom and glorm but constant self battle to take control, do my own thing and get super focused.

Hello quick tip if you feel as though it is possible to get a decent sized truck to your residential area and it’s not super close to a school. Challenge ups when they decided to reject your collection send them photos of your area and where the pallet is. if you’ve had trucks come to you before take pictures of those trucks in your area and send them to ups via email. They declined mine at first until I sent them proof a truck can come to me just fine, now I constantly collect and send pallets from my house. Hope this helps

if I am below the 90k VAT threshold, can I still register for VAT and claim it back from HMRC? to be clear I am a new seller on Amazon and have never claimed VAT exemption so have been paying VAT that I didn't need to

Surely now its better to register for VAT, since if you are below the 90k threshold you can claim it back, whereas if you aren't registered you can't?
