Last night I took er out of the safe just to cycle through the positions, and it's still firm. It's not so firm that I can't engage it with my thumb alone, but it's not like an AR selector which is very forgiving. I suppose the best way I can describe it is as intentionally moderate. In that, you are unlikely to accidentally engage it, but that It takes a willful, intentional, act with moderate pressure to do so. Maybe a bit more than one would like. I don't seem to mind it, though, or I've just gotten used to it, because I've put thousands of rounds though that thing, and it's not something I've ever really actively thought about, or noticed recently, so I'm guessing that, over time, and use, it should improve. Either way it means you get to send a bunch of rounds, which is the best part. Cheers.

Personally, I've never heard of anyone getting sick from cleaning firearms. I suppose it's possible, but I usually scrub up pretty good when I'm finished. When I reload .45 Colt, I use cast lead bullets, and I wear gloves then, but I'm also directly touching lead for several hours, rather than particles for 15 minutes 4 times a year. My Dad, as well, taught me to keep tools cleaned and oiled. Every time He used even a screwdriver, he used an always available mineral oiled rag to simply wipe the blade before putting it on his well-organized tool wall.

Hey, thanks man. Yeah, I do too. It initially wasn't my intent. I had looked for a 9mm picto select fire housing, but didn't feel like spending 350 bucks for one. This just happened to work out with the double round marking, and... it was a lot less expensive than the 9mm versions. Since the 40/10 housings fit on the 9mm, I felt like it was a sign.

@RadaghastBrown4 ай бұрын
Hello! Thank you very much. We love this thing. We often camp at places that offer electrical hook ups. I have not attempted to run this on a genny yet, but I would imagine the water heater draws a fair bit. One option I considered was going with a propane water heater. The issue there is you will still need power for the pump, but I would guess it is significantly less than the heater.

I tried your method and it didn't work for me as well as it did for you. The method I use is a scotch-bright pad attached to a Dremel Mandrel. The scotch-bright pad literally scours all the dirt and carbon fouling off of the cylinder. After doing that I tried your method and polished the cylinder to a mirror finish. I love my stainless steel guns but I hate shooting them because I know I have to remove the burn rings from the cylinder.

Have you had any issues ? I heard that some had out of battery discharges
@RadaghastBrown4 ай бұрын
As I state in the video, the only issue I have had with this firearm is the handful of stovepipes that occurred due to improper installation of the binary pack. The OOB issue occurs when the striker safety key is worn, or hung up. This is easily avoidable with regular maintenance, inspection, and cleaning. I, personally, have not had any issues with OOB, but then I'm also meticulous with care and inspections. With all of that said, my Scorpion still remains as one of my favorite, if not my favorite, weapons in my collection, and has chewed through nearly 10k rounds without issue. It also makes a fantastic host for a suppressor.

Did you ever record the video of you firing it at the range? I can’t find anything on your channel
@RadaghastBrown4 ай бұрын
No, I did not. I believe I damaged it through negligence. I can say on a 9mm it functioned just fine. On a 10mm with full power rounds, it was fine until I monkied with it. Some of the coating on the bracket that holds it on to the lower rail began to peel back because I believe I installed it improperly. This made it fit a bit loosely. I can probably alter it so it functions properly again, I just have not had time to do it. It's with that said I can say that it's OK. I don't feel I tested it enough to make any conclusive judgment. But I can say it's constructed reasonably well, and, when it is ON the pistol, it functions well enough that I ddidn't have to bend over and pick up brass for an hour after my therapy session. I... should... probably do a follow up on it here. I hope this helps in the meantime.

Will this thing shoot hollowpoints are you stuck with FMJ's and have you had any feeing issues
@RadaghastBrown5 ай бұрын
Yes, it will shoot hollow points no problem. The only issue I ever had with this firearm is the issue I outline in my video. When I installed the binary trigger, I didn't do so properly, and I had approximately 4-5 feeding issues, all occurring during the same range trip. Once I went back, and re-installed the trigger pack correctly, I have not had a single issue, and that's some 4+ thousand rounds ago. It runs like a champ, and eats whatever I feed it. That said, its primary diet is hand-loaded 147g subsonics.
