Haven’t used Descript in nearly a year. By the time I got fairly comfortable with it, they bought another company, tried incorporating their technology without warning, and it’s been multiple months since I’ve been able to use it. Still looking for a stable replacement.

I'm so appreciative of finding the concept for this workflow! But 9 times out of 10 I get the error (when trying to relink files): Frame Rates Don't Match. Is there something I need to do in Descript that'll get the frame rates to be OK'd by Final Cut? I'm just doing a video podcast, so I'm not even super-picky about the frame rates; I'd just love for it to work! Thank you!!

I can imagine a weird scenario where we can export a pdf set of drawings(architectural) as a video, where it "plays" each sheet for a given amount of time, and a user can click those frames to open up/download the pdf file. You get the benefit of being able to "scrub" through a drawing set, but not have to wait for the potentially large pdf file (100mb+) to download. I can also imagine a more practical scenario where video can be exported from for example revit, with BIM data that can then be clickable through this tech. You could create a walkthrough and be able to see all the different elements of a project, from a video, and not have to deal with any additional software. Very interesting! Thanks for the info!

I found this video searching for how to verify. My profile is already verified by phone number, but I still ran into a daily upload limit yesterday (9 videos, nowhere near 256 GB) and YT is asking me to make a 5 min(?) video of my face or send a picture of my driver's license. What I want to find out is where to go to just do this instead of forcing my profile to hit that limit again today. So, at the end of all that, this video didn't help. The real answer is, from YT Studio, click Settings > Channel > Feature eligibility

I’m glad the update is coming but I find the idea that CapCut is somehow more limited than lumafusion and people migrate from it to lumafusion is comical to say the least and this is from a long time user. There’s still so many basic things you can do CapCut you still can’t even think of doing on lumafusion. Hopefully the team at Lunatouch can close that gap soon.

They're forcing everyone to buy cinema lenses. The DJI Lidar won't work reliably with photographic lenses.. not even with a ribbed third party focus ring attached. And most people want to keep using them. Until recently, small form cameras like the ones they keep showing with cinema lenses attached generally used photographic lenses. Now they're expecting everyone to look like a pro DOP, even if the Lidar is only prosumer. Know what I mean?
