It would be cool to see a video for what it's actually like using this beast, editing and exporting it with a full project. I built my PC with the idea of eventually getting a NAS. My MOBO is 10GBE compatible, i just need the funds to make this happen. :)

Yo justin how it works when i buy 1 song from Soundstripe and send the video with that song to client! How is licensing working what will hapen when they post that to instagram or youtube?
@JustinPorterMediaКүн бұрын
@@IvoJuricic that’s going to depend on soundstripes licensing. I’m not familiar as I don’t use it anymore. Artlist for example covers you for anything. Musicbed you have to have either a wedding license or business license plan.

The question is not where but how you find the perfect music and how you edit on it ? I always struggle on artlist for hours to try the song that match for the couple and when i got it, it isn't fit the edit ...

I really like your approach because I think weddings are sooo boring. If I was a bride I would actually enjoy watching these tapes back. I want to take a reality style approach for personal branding for a client. I can't make the investment to have so much gear like you right now but this at least gives me encouragement that I can make it happen.

Have a great question….. can you have a home based nas for daily use and one remotely in another location other then your home or work……. If so how would you correctly setup since they’re not in the same physical location (like say Ur home and a Storage unit for example)
@JustinPorterMedia4 күн бұрын
@@gregshanor669 yes you can. That was my original plan. With Qnap, you would set it up in hybrid backup 3 software.

I'm a big JPM-kinda guy and a member of the live academy. I see a upload, I take notes. This time I forced my GF to watch it with me to hear what she thought of the style and if she had any feedback for you, that I could share with you (I always make her watch my own as she is very honest 😅): - Instantly within 10-15 sec: This has some 90-days fiancé kinda vibe! - Music is quite overpowering on dialogue. - Ceremony was very long. I'm sure the couple loved it, but for me as a viewer it was waay too long. - Impromptu interviews made her feel clostrophobic, as the videographer was a step too close. It'd be better if the interviews wasn't shot from downwards up. Overall, she said she'd watch 10 minutes, but stuck around for the whole video (except for when she felt the ceremony dragged out). That's a good sign! Other than that she was just amazed seeing how much some people put into their weddings 😂 My quality of work is a looooong way from yours, so I hope the comments are not to be taken to think I could have done any of this myself. ❤

Thank Justin for this HELPFUL video. One question, please. I want to use Sennheiser MKE-2 Lapel with Viviana Beetle Lav Mount to avoid the mic being accidentally pulled off the mount. I know Viviana has 2 kinds of mounts: BEETLE for SANKEN COS11 and BEETLE for DPA6060. Which one can I use with MKE-2. If it does not work with MKE 2, is there any solution for this issue? Thanks again.
