Just so you know, the house sellers will sell to you at night. So you can wait until they are in bed or headed towards a bed to dump your money in the nearest box/chest/cupboard. I always get a free house in Whiterun by just waiting until he's asleep before bothering him about my house. There's almost always a chest near most beds. That's easier than trying to shove or shout the people over to a container......

I'm new to this game and qm grateful for all of the videos to help me in gameplay but one of the things I have noticed is that if you are playing on a PC then you can get a hell of a lot more than is possible for me as I play on the PS4 slim, I don't mind though cos I still enjoy playing cos I prefer my own company and pretty much stay away from people, cheers 'm' dears, thanks for the video

YOU CAN STILL DO THE QUEST EVEN IF YOU DO THIS The quest requires tou to pick it up and because you did the quest you cant do it and cant drop because its a quest item so just put it on the wall of your house and pick it up from there

I just did it 2024 can confirm it works. You need to be across the table after you talk to him and facing the drawer and make it quick. Took me a few tries tho I almost thought it doesnt work. I'm on PS4 Pro.

The way Harkon delivers the tutorial is probably the most immersion breaking dialogue in the entire game. I felt like he was so close to saying "And click using M1 to cast spells" lol

I've always hated those ingame tuts delivered by characters, but it's for kids who can't figure anything out and need their hands held at all times.

To be fair, although I don't even remember, I was like 12 years old when this DLC released and I definitely went with the Vampire lords but only because I had no idea you could even side with the Dawnguard. The tutorial would have helped for sure, but it's really uncanny in retrospect to hear an in-game NPC talk about actual game mechanics. @@theslicefactor4590
