Well, I'm a native Pole, and I stare and pay attention if I see a black person. I'd compare it to... It's kind of gathering intel? Though all I've observed so far is that they seem to keep their act in line, and they appear as not very acquainted with Polish, and the latter assumption is based on the fact that I've only heard them talking in what I think is French

In poland it's absolutely normal, that we stare at each other, so don't worry. Also if you are eager to learn or work here, you are always welcome. We just hate so called "engineers and doctors" read illegal immigrabts that want to stay here without any willing to find a job. So if you want to come here legally, you can always count on helping hand.

As for the skipping the spare seat in the tram, I think people just prefer not to seat by a taken seat on general, regardless of eho is sitting there. Like, if O have a choice between one spare seat by someone or two spare seats in a differnet part of the tram, I would usually choose the second option. We don't like being too close to strangers on general, it's a matter of personal space, I believe

As a Polish person it's nice to hear most of the people in the video have overall positive experiences in Poland and hope in the future they will manage to make it their home. I acknowledge they experienced some forms of racism, but I do hope positive experiences prevail over the negative ones. Good luck and witamy w Polsce!

How do you attend a university program in a foreign country and not know the language? Polish people think ahead of their actions. With all the stories of black migrants murdering, raping women and boys in other European countries, what do you tell a child conceived by such a union? No child wants to hear they were an unwanted product. Children need to hear they were made in love. They need two parents. This is a big fear.

I wouldn't be comfortable iwth the staring, even if they're just "being curious". I have "neutral/mixed look" between Indian/European. I live in Sweden and here people are reserved, in-yoru-face talk or staring straight/prolonged stare is not OK. It's just rude, in my view.

Is like a White/caucasian goes to places of non whites whom whites r non common. Some people sm nice but dont mean tht they like u, the most stick with their own and dont like mixes, the others have a mix relation mix family and love diversity, and a few accept diversity and like tht but not in the own. And its normal for social beings stick with similars and live with similars.and its normal and ok reject tht u dont like u dont need accept all or be accepted by all. Every thing have their own site not all and that t also for living beings. Racism is a word used like a weapon only fpr those who dont like some . Stick with ur own is also a defense to preserve the same race and dna and culture and mindset and tribu.

Im a white, young, polish person, and I want to share a short story. I grew up in a small town in central Poland, add to this the fact that Im rather introverted and my experiences with black people was nonexistent. I haven't seen a black person until I was I think 16. I saw a black man in a market and I felt.... Strange, awkward, and uncomfortable. BUT the reason I felt uncomfortable wasn't because of the black person, but because of the feelings I felt. I was asking myself "Why do I feel this way? Am'I racist? Is it possible to be racist, while actively not wanting to?". Fortunately, few years later I enrolled into a university in a bigger city, that had a learning program for people from Africa. Some time has passed and I haven't felt that same awkwardness ever again.... It took some getting used to, but black people in poland are pretty much unheard of outside of bigger cities, add to this the fact that older, more prejudiced folk lives in smaller cities (Look top liked comment at the top☝️) and you will get it, what I mean.

I would like to comment because I can see my city in the background. I can't say anything critical about the black people living in Wrocław, because I have the impression that they have blended well into the lifestyle and they were selected people and that's how they ended up in Poland, unlike the mass influx to Germany, where someone close to me can say a lot critically about it. this subject. I see young people who are visually attractive, dress very elegantly, have good manners and often listen to music on headphones. I have nothing against this kind of cultural enrichment. In my opinion, people with this complexion like to dress elegantly and attach great importance to it, which I like.

I grew in Brazil in a mixed Race family, Brazil is a fucking racist country. Black people in Brazil has it's place in football, carnival that's it but if you turn the TV on to watch the news, or any TV programme all you see is 100% white Brazilian faces presenting it. White Brazilians originated from Portugal, Spain, Italy these countries are also racist. In Poland , Russia, Ukraine, Scandinavia countries they all have the same white Racist DNA. Black people must act with caution and be prepared for racist situations provoked by the white supremacy mentality. It's just how the human race is. Not matter what people say about the USA in terms of Racism, THE USA is the most diverse country in the planet Earth. I have been to the USA twice I saw black people working in the airports, Libraries, Transport system bus, train, Black police officers, black TV presenters. Seriously other countries cannot beat the USA when it comes to diversity and inclusion in the workplace ! ! !
