Exactly what i needed to know. Taking my imac on the road also. How long does the jackery power the imac when jackery has full battery?

i have the mach e for two years, and i got a error that one of the camera's is failing, because of this somethings dont work any more, driving is no problem but staying between lines and cruise control and some other thins dont work any more. I did the car to te garage and they say its a broken module. The price of this module is 1800 euro, but because my mach e is only 2 years old i get a discount of 700 euro. This means that i still have too pay 1100 euro without the work 250 euro is total 1350 euro. i'm absolutely not agree with this, since when is it normal that a module is broken after 2 years and i have too pay for it. I"m not happy with this but what can i do accept pay????

I empathize with you and validate your frustration; however, you are breaking confidence after one issue. The same stuff happened to me and I got stuck in KY for a week. But I am not blaming the brand over an independent dealers incompetents.

I have a 2023 Mach E and I have nothing but good things to say about it. That said, the car is only used for local driving about 250 miles per week and I only charge it at home. I would never even think about driving it or ANY ev cross country. EV’s are not for everyone!

You didn't really loose 30-35 percent range, instead you used 30-35 percent of the battery energy for heat. A gas car heats a car for free, provided that you need heat.If you don't, it is 100% waste heat that the car is making at all times. Otherwise only about 30-40 percent of that energy goes from the tank to actual distance travelled. An EV, being 70-80 percent efficient, conservatively, in terms of energy stored to distance travelled only appears more sensitive to range loss in winter. Basically you dive for 25% as cheap as gas in the summer, and no worse than 50-60 as much as gas in the winter. Batteries and gas store energy, not distance.... Nice Vid

While my Model 3 was at the auto body shop, I had to drive a Hyundai Kona for a couple weeks. I was very impressed. In some ways, it was better than Teslas autopilot and I trusted it more. Not a lot of people talk about it. It’s like Tesla makes their autopilot a little dumb so that people feel like they should upgrade to FSD.

Thanks. Love you video. You convinced me. I'm 65, maybe middle life crisis but just traded my truck for a magnetic grey xse. Love the car.. Getting racks and fly rod rack. With my Kodiak canvas tent I will be able to go anywhere. Keep them coming.

I don't know how this nonsense about not being able to take a EV to a car wash started. You absolutely can take it to a tunnel car wash... whether you should or shouldn't is irrelevant. There's no issues with washing it this way.

This was a common issue with the Mach E early on. It wasn't even a serious issue to fix but the problem it causes cystomers is terrible because they can't charge most of the time.

Jackery 1000 or 2000. you can charge your mustang mach e if you plug in a "AMAZON: Neutral grounding Plug, Portable Inverter Generator Neutral grounding Connection Plug, Floating Neutral Surge Protector" which costs about 9 dollars. After you plug it into one of the three plug areas, then the charging works, no orange light only blue (its not the wattage limiting it). I did it and with a full Jackery 2000 charge, took over about 2 hours to empty the battery, and it gave the car FOUR MILES in range. When the zombies or EMP comes, this isn't the way (unless you have 5 weeks of solar charging to prepare for a trip to go 30 miles).

Great video, i will have my parked at home unplugged outside and we have around -10 during winters in Sweden. Im thinking of a LR RWD? What battery loss can i expect per day if its not plugged in? And I will leave it outside around 80-90%. And it will be a cold start i guess everyday when we have winter. Will i loose alot of range everyday or is there a way for me to pre heat it without loosing so much range?

I'm thinking Tesla would be better for you if you'd like to drive long distances and you like electric cars. The charging is for structure is fantastic. In fact when I get my CCS to Tesla adapter I'll be able to enjoy the same infrastructure on my 23 GT performance

Similar situation to yours, but I am ecstatic with the outcome. The 21 had a lot of bugs that have been since resolved. My 21 was in the shop for months, and Ford bought the vehicle back and gave me every penny. I paid for it and then some. I was able to turn around andpurchase a brand new 23 Mustang Machi, GT performance edition could be happier. All the bugs have been worked out on the 23s.

Some of these complaints sound like sour grapes to me. Breaking down on a holiday weekend it's unrealistic to think anything is going to happen fast. Then as far as the dealer being booked that happens with them all. My BMW dealer is big on advertising gold star service, but when their flat out you get in line. Everyone needs their car repaired asap that's just the way it is and most places can't find enough qualified mechanics. You were double screwed because you broke down were were very few people buy electric cars so naturally the dealers won't have much experience. I'm not sure what you expected Ford roadside assistance to do? The dealers aren't owned by Ford so roadside can't tell them to piss off another customer and put you first in line. Now about it Breaking down in the first place is this a common problem with mache or were you unlucky?

One cold winner and those batteries are shot batteries die when it gets cold gas can go way longer than they last way longer. My GMC gets 495 a tank and has 150,000 miles on it no way an electric car getting that without a battery changehate to break it to electric cars. Use more toxic materials to make for the batteries lithium all the plastic uses gas and oil.
