Secondly, not a question, but I just want to applaud you on driving around France.... by yourself!! That would be so daunting! I used to walk to Chenonceau from my house when we lived in/outside Amboise, you seriously need half day there to see it. the gardens are famous, 2 men design, grow and tend to the garden (with helpers) but its all their doing. the best bit is inside the Chateau they use their flowers to make the most amazing arrangements in all the rooms. its my favorite
