That’s what I need to get me this to work. I noticed some states saying you have to look into it where you don’t need license plate or insurance all you need is your drivers license

I was wondering.. That's a long walk if you run out of fuel.... Might be better to fill some of those gas cans.... Nice video . watch that gravel.

Your stock cdi is restricted, get a modified one. Check the variator, could also have a restriction in place. My moped 50cc hits 40 and over LOL.

it needs more airflow to match your rev/limiter upgrades and fuel injectors. I'd go with an open air system and then restrict it, as needed to match jets and attain close enough a/f to tune. Like, when you rev and it kinda has that nasally higher pitch, but your idle is deep and throated? That tells you that your pilot jet's doing great, but the mainjet is running rich and combustion is harder to come by. I can tell you're getting fuel fine, but that air is sussy and that's likely where all your power's getting lost and why you're capping at like 35 and not about 40-45, before any derestrict mods/variator changes, etc.

mopeds have pedals, hence the ped after the mo.

Not really. They used to but that was back when we didn't have any way to make a small motorcycle without it being a bicycle with an engine. Later on we figured out how to deign them different so pedals weren't really necessary.

Dude, you have a long way to go! I have a Tao Tao Pony 50cc exactly like that and I've built the engine in it a couple times. Going farther each time. Right now it has an 84cc stroker and it will pin the speedometer needle over the high beam indicator in the dash and will still be pulling! I can do burnouts and ride wheelies on it. If you want someone to build you an engine that knows what they're doing so you you can ride "fast" then you can contact me. [email protected]. I build the fastest scooters in North Carolina bar none!! 😉

@@jasontevepaugh It's a lot of fun and you can save a lot in the long run for not having to spend for gas and oil. But being so quiet with 0 vibration whatsoever to me it lacks the "spirit" that motor vehicles have. Mine can only travel a maximum of 60-70 km range in one full charge with top speed of 49km/hr and I want to travel farther and faster, so I'm saving to get a 125cc honda by december.

Yes I turned it up alittle. It would shut off even a tad lower then how you hear it in this vid. I feel like it needs a bit of "tweaking" in general. This thing never really ran right from new. Always quick to shut off as I come to a stop,
@techrvl9406
@techrvl9406 Жыл бұрын
@@born2xceler830 Yeah, idk if you ever addressed it, but it's an air/fuel mixture, likely running rich and your airflow is choked somewhere. A lotta people are sussed about getting the stock airbox removed, cuz if you don't understand and tune your jetting or modify the airflow incrementally, to get to where your bike likes, it obviously just runs lean af and dies. In your case, my bike did the same when i recovered it, cuz the airbox was dusty af. I accidentally broke the tubing that goes to the egr diaphragm on the muffler and it like did two things for me, accidentally: 1) it let JUST enough airflow in, to get the engine running that much leaner and i was able to start it, albeit very boggy until the diaphragm kinda opened up more to take advantage. 2) It basically created an open hole in my muffler, where the egr diaphragm used to be, as that was dumping "fresh air" from the filtered side of intake, to the exhaust, for emissions (LOL). Removing that basically created what would be considered an "exhaust leak", I tried to plug it twice, but both times, i noticed an obvious slog in acceleration and figured out the reason: "Air in/out". Because i opened up more air on the inflow, the outflow needed to match, too so that small 10mm hole basically acted as a double exhaust and a small straight pipe (and sounds loud and kinda dope, lol). I recently replaced my airbox with a pod filter, and what I did to "match" it to like the airflow of the Carb I'd tuned, was added a couple of squares of the old air filter foam, cut up and stuffed it in there, to match the restriction of the stock airbox, with all around airflow. Took a bit of messing with the throttle response, air/fuel and idle and some cleaning up of the egr system, but worked excellent and now my top end is about 50 or so, no derestrictions and no changes to cvt... Just a new carb/intake/pod filter and about 3 hours of meticulously fucking with every dial on the carb, until it perfectly did what i wanted, lol. Protip: if you wanna "stoke" your air/fuel mixture at idle without screwing, you can bend the little silver tab that pushes the enricher down just like a millimeter and that will offer a more aggressive idle range (or you can bend it back a lil and it'll allow you a less aggressive range.) You can always do this, if you feel your bike dies at idle and you're adjustments aren't getting the idle to range.
