Its not 254 nm its not even 315 nm , the pink colors is due to 400 nm and 410 nm so its just regular fluorecent uv tb (UVA)

Not a good filter, too much blue and presumably longwave UV too. A good filter will make the lamp look almost not lighting at all. Scheelite fluoresces blue-white, so what minerals are you using here?

it is 254nm with optical UV filter, so it looks like 365nm. if it is 365nm, it not shine minerals like this.

interesting. can you use it to take blood though. it doesnt project the image on the skin so it is probably quite disorientating to look at the screen and the arm simultaneously

+manny mew this device finding veins clearly, great for IVs, parts of customers use to blood drawn. when you detect veins, i advise you can use a marker pen, then knows the veins position even if not see screen, thanks.
