I have tried connecting a new device to the bluetooth thing and I do have my circut maker connected to my computer and nothing pops up

Okay, what do I do if my cricut maker 3 shows up in my devices, but it says "not connected." I've tried everything but for some reason it just won't connect. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.

I have a cheap HP laptop from Walmart I can't afford anything els I bought the cricket explorer air 2 and my laptop is having issues and I can't connect, do I really need to buy a windows laptop just to connect to the cricket air 2 because I can't afford another laptop please help
