@KillerKhemistАй бұрын
Sorry. Missed this comment. It makes the gun noticably both more precise and accurate. Mine was pretty ok inconsistent out of the box before this upgrade. Also it will increase your fps by 35-50 FPS. So be careful of your field limits

Does it work for the aap01C or just aap01?
@KillerKhemist2 ай бұрын
It looks like the AAP-01c is just a shorter version as far as the outer barrel is concerned. So that should absolutely work just fine. Because the outer barrel does not connect to the kit in any way.

I bought my barrel extensions on Amazon. But the product is no longer available. This for example looks like it would work, AOOHYEO 14mm CCW to 14mm CCW 0.8″ 2.4″ 4.8″ 7.1″ Outer Diameter 0.75” (19mm) AEG GBB Black Tube M14x1 Left Threaded Extension Accessories Four Pieces (Black) a.co/d/i6tM9jT Not sure how quality this product is though. It does have free returns if it doesn't work out. But also I saw many other listings when I searched "airsoft barrel extension 14mm ccw" on Amazon. Hope you find something 🤙

Thanks for the detailed video! wondering if you are still using these and noticed any weak points in the core? I have read that the alloy knurled connector can split, and a solution is epoxy it to the core. Think that is necessary?
@KillerKhemist4 ай бұрын
I do still use them. I have yet to have a core break on me after 48 throws. But I have heard people's milage varry. But at the end of the day if the core breaks after you go through several bags of shells these grenades are still the most cost effective even when you have to replace the core from time to time. So I would personally just use the cores until they break and replace them. Haven't had one break yet though

Would an aftermarket bolt work with this?
@KillerKhemist5 ай бұрын
Definitely not. It would need to be heavily modified. It works like a normal bolt for the most part. And the modification wouldn't be the hardest thing to do. But you certainly could not drop something in and replace it. It probably wouldn't fit properly as far as width and length go

I helped build a large chunk of this site. Roughly 8x8 foot walls if I remember right. Just eyeballing it, assuming the dude was not choked up on the door when the other guys came in and shot him up, he was easily just under or at 25 feet. Most people overestimate how far even 20 feet is in my experience (the rules must've changed?). Let's be real here, Tom always builds his sites to have longer angles if people want to camp and not move up. Corner humping in the most tight building on the field is asking for a point blank gun fight and there is no excuse. If "argument guy" reads this, tighten up, you're roleplaying a soldier with that loadout. In reality there needs to just be MED for auto only and let people shoot to eliminate all doubt in these situations. Or knock down the FPS limit to 350, or make an assaulter class with no MED like how "DMR" and "auto" have longer ones. There's half a dozen ways.
@KillerKhemist Жыл бұрын
Well said man.I play at CQB City all the time, and they have 400 FPS, no minimum engagement and no whining policy. So when people complain about getting shot in semi-auto I just have no sympathy. Also if you don't want to get shot so much, maybe you should call yourself out instead of acting like it didn't count because he was under 25 ft.
