Which wig is this? Did I miss it?
@EternallyConfuzzled3 күн бұрын
I’m a white girl who mostly wears lace fronts for cosplay (my skills aren’t good enough for anything else yet, but I’m learning!), with a lot of super fine/slippery 2c/3a hair to hide. It’s been such a journey learning how to properly apply wigs and I’m still such a beginner, but this tutorial is an absolute game changer. My biggest struggle has been finding ways to get my hair to stay put & flat under a wig cap (especially since I couldn’t even do a basic french braid until last year). Most of the wig install tutorials I’ve found start off with cornrows, which had me sweating 😅 I can’t wait to practice this when I get home!! So glad I found your channel!!!
@SheroiTaylor2 күн бұрын
i’m happy i could help! if you flat twist the top and then braid the ends, that will help your hair stay in place if it’s really slippery. for extra hold you can tie those mini black rubber bands at the ends! good luck 🫶🏾

I’m mixed but I never knew my dads side of the family, so every single birthday or Christmas I would get hair straighteners or gadgets or they’d take me to get my hair relaxed. I’m really trying to embrace my natural hair but I have no idea what I’m doing. I can braid my daughters hair fine but mine?! Forget it haha thank you for showing this🙏🏻 I know it’s three years later but you’re still showing us how it’s done!

Thank you so much for this! As a mixed person (Black and latina) who didn't grow up with any Black family members, the world of protective styles was completely foreign to me growing up. So as an adult finally trying learning how to do these things, videos like these have been a life saver! Again thank you so much!!!!

been trying to find a protective style i can use safely, im a white girl with coily hair, but its so damaged and hard to manage now, so im thinking of wearing wigs over some kind of protective style until my hair grows out enough for me to cut the damage off Ive also got a skin condition on my scalp, would anyone recommend this or another method i could use?

What is the website for the actual Hairviv wigs site ? You have to be careful because there are so many fake sites out there that you might end up spending a lot of money on a wig and can't send it back or get your money back. That is a big concern of mine.

Hey! Thank you so much. I’m doing this now and although it’s far from perfect(I suck at doing my hair) it’s really helping. I almost can’t believe I’m doing it. I’ve had to have other people braid down my hair for years

The flattest method is a smooth ponytail. Flat twists are too loose
@SheroiTaylor2 ай бұрын
ponytails cause breakage, and if you have puffy kinky curly hair like me, getting a smooth ponytail takes either heat or a large amount of gel and edge control which also cause breakage. also if you have a lot of hair the ponytail will be long and if you tuck it under the wig, it won’t be so flat anymore😔

Hey lady -- this video hit home for me because 1) I'm a group fitness instructor who inspires people every day to *_heal_* their health triggers & traumas, *_rebuild_* their confidence, *_embrace and feel_* their sexiness!! 2) I too have gained 40+ pounds since the pandemic; which has been a major blow to my confidence! Your video has inspired me to do a weight-release reboot journey. 🤍🤍

Sheroi this video was emotional for me. I too have gained weight, about 60 pounds. I gained weight from medication I take and the past 4 years have been a rollercoaster for me. First I lose it, then I gain it all back. I struggle with consistency too. I have scalled back on some of my commitments so that I can really dedicate my time to this weight loss journey. Let's do this!
