oh goodness.. i feel so disturbed. you truly had me rooting for the guy when he finally got in the water. he looked so happy when he finally got in (overcoming his fear i assume), but then what happened after was just so... wow. the single drop of blood floating to the surface followed by the rest was a nice touch. you really scared me with the lady :,)

Ya know what, I'm just gonna dump this here. In my experience, acting and lying is not "faking" emotions (at least in this context, professional acting for movies and stuff is probably different). It's creating them, exaggerating them. You pull them out from within your depths, and apply them to the situation, make them bigger, make them dull, push it into your voice, your face. You aren't just... "covering up" your other feelings with something fake, you're pushing what you feel at the time to the side to be used later. And usually when you aren't doing that, you feel quite numb, and there isn't much expression on your face. I personally dedicate time to processing my emotions when I can, when I truly do feel sad, I exaggerate as much as I can so I can dump out as many of my feelings as possible so they don't get in the way when I'm doing other stuff. I wanted to talk about this because I often see people drawing Kokichi crying, sobbing, or just being sad and scared in general underneath his mask, when that isn't how it is. It's like that for some people but I don't think Kokichi is one of them, he feels quite similar to me and in my experience, it's easier to just make yourself feel things than fake your expression, your body language, your eyes, every little thing. It's not putting a mask on, it's just painting on a blank canvas. You didn't seem to do this as much, and your work felt much more in tune with how I see Kokichi. I think you did well.
