As I recall, this mission was behind schedule. Government officials forced the mission to go forward even when all the cosmonauts knew there would be serious, life-threatening consequences. Komarov was Gagarin's friend. He knew if he didn't go, then Gagarin would be called to go. In spite of knowing this mission was essentially a suicide mission, Komarov refused to back out. This video is majorly lacking in significant information on Komarov's sacrifice, why he sacrificed himself and how did Gagarin react to his friend's death and ultimately what happened to Gagarin and why.

Why have a super loud narrated intro and then move to text only? Either voice the whole thing or don't.

Back in 1966 around the same time as John's infamous statement on the Beatles are bigger than Jesus, young British fans wrote graffiti on public walls in London that "Clapton is God" Eric Clapton was considered a rock god back then. Not blaming him for those accolades which were just as offensive as Lennon's yet he never received the backlash in the USA as Lennon got

The bearded guy is actually Marco Antonio Mallagoli, well respected Brazilian Beatles fan, he got the recogninition from the four Beatles in his Fan Club and Band called "Revolution" besides this, is journalist and spread Beatlemania around Brazil during most of his time starting when Fred Seaman personal assistant of John Lennon gave him a golden disc that he had from "She Loves You"....

Smh.. bloody hell. Very creepy to see john signing an autograph for his killer. Then by 11 pm john was gone. If only the apt kept fans away, or if john had security, I don't know. Seems like it all could have been avoided. Now you can't stand anywhere near the Dakota building, even if you live there you can't just be hanging about unless waiting for limo or someone to pick you up. Its all so sick and sad.. chapmen i half way figured he would have been killed in prison by now for this. John was a brilliant musician/artist. Qnd the Beatles are my favourite band. Be safe out there everyone🙏🏻cheers from Southampton England.

One more time - Lennon never said Bigger than Jesus - Years before in an interview for some Brittish paper he said that the Beatles were more popular than Jesus at that time - And he meant that for England only.

And he didnt even meant whole England. To say it in details, he said: for children we are now more popular than Jesus. And yes as maidmarion pointed it out: thats humour... and also Lennon wasnt even wrong - because being popular is a easy thing. Even Mickey Mouse can be more popular than religious figures. Doesnt say anything about: how important Mickey Mouse is, in comparison to Jesus. Its just a saying about fame. And obviously John didnt even meant it serious. Chapman took it literally.

Chapman won't be forgotten, unless Lennon is forgotten. Lennon should've been smarter about having private security, instead of listening to those acid-laced voices in his head, giving him false notions about peace. He was a very outspoken man. Outspoken men cannot live proper lives, without protection.

There are some discrepancies between some of the written names and the spoken names, the worst one being the man jumping over the puddle. It says Bristol in the text but the audio seems to be saying Bresson. I don't know enough about that person to know if Bresson is correct. I don't like the showing of Piss Christ. Just because someone did that doesn't mean it's art, and it still offends societal norms. But you have a lot of other unusual photos I enjoyed seeing and hadn't seen before.
