I was concerned about all the stairs at the monkey temple but you said you took a taxi to a point where you had to walk much less than - what was that # of stairs? Where do I ask my taxi to take me to? And this was the monkey temple in Kathmandu central, not in one of the outlier cities?
@GrowingUpWithoutBorders

It was the one close to the city. If you ask the taxi driver to bring you up to the top he’ll know what you mean. If not I think it’s a 365 stairs.

That's what is so good about growing up without borders. the girls learn math, language, geography ect just by daily living in so many different cultures. Your home schooling is valuable but almost just a top up for what they learn and experience just by their daily life. I love it Chantal. I had special needs education but still somehow achieved college and 1 year of open university.

This may be a very dumb question but How does your daily routine vary depending on the location you're in? I just mean in general. You obviously would not be going to visit the real Eiffel Tower or Tal Mahal in Wellington NZ. Also I'm asking if you were in a country as a tourist and the culture dictates doing/ not doing something at the time your used to are you obliged to follow suit or would people say ah they're tourists/visitors it doesn't matter.

You actually miss the authentic Nepalese food and culture. You can't really experience it at the Hyatt. Try street vendors or shops that look small and uncomfortable for you guys; that's where real MOMOs are sold. Try homestay for organic local cuisine instead of hotels. Hotel and restaurant scam you with the high price and the cheap ingredients.

I am baffled to see on how many occasions these folks have tried to compare us with India whereas we have nothing in common and the fact that we are a whole different country, the oldest south asian one with no colonial history is crazy. Why do these folks come to my country thinking we are fucking Indians ? We are not them and we do not even like them, many of them live in our country embarrassing us.

日本は島国。大陸の国とはまったく違う。民族の諍いの多い、国境が陸続きの他国とは違う。Growing up without bordersの考え方は日本に必要ない、来るのは勝手だが、君達の国と真逆な日本は世界一古い国家であり、その常識が異常と言うなら君達にとっても得は無いので、来ないのがwin winではないか?
