You called this not your best in the comments, I call it amazing. For a guy who grew up only wanting to the Tomcat but it was retired before I reached age, these videos are all myself and others like me have. So God bless you for even taking them and posting them here 🙏

this is very special man!!!, now i just wanna jump to my F14 in DCS and go. now i understand how much important rudder is in the refuel of the tom cat, i keep using stick, and i can do it, but is way easier with the proper use of rudder, tx man this is literally priceless, tx for the upload, i dont know if you are the real Rio, anyways tx for your service? i keep thinking, and i already spoke with Mr Ward Carroll about it, was a "crime" stopping THE f14D PROGRAM, BY now we would have all the electronic, avionic upgrades, the displays the fly by wire, probably even model E, The F14 would be the best plane on the fleet, we have the FA-18 witch i dont like that much despite being a great aircraft for all operations but still is a mini-me in comparison to the F14, big strong cat, amazing fuel efficiency and by now would be twice as better in all categories. The Senior officers together with the Pentagon who made that decision should be ashamed of such decision, they´re still confused with the F22 and F35 programs while china is full gas with their programs, even carriers, if we dont move they will catch up, US flexing isnt working the way used to

I do fly in DCS--the F-14 is incredibly true to life! Don't feel bad--it's very tough to land on the boat even in the best of circumstances.

Glad to see the TARPS system in this video. Our Naval Air Development Engineers were exceptional and designed what was originally to be only an interim system but became the Navy's primary reconnaissance platform for approximately 25 years. I was TARPS director from 1978-1981. My congratulations to all who made it possible and to the fighter community which finally accepted it.
