using an impact is stupid when dealing with removal of any bolt smaller than 17mm. The bolts are not grade 8 and can snap from the vibration. Always use a 1/4" drive ratchet instead and pull them off by hand as the threads should have sealant on them to prevent from leaking. 30 years doing it and never once broke bolts doing it by hand. Do the job right.

Ratchet strap will fit behind it, hook it wear the tire was attached, and ratchet til it pops off.

i had one that i couldnt get out no matter what i tried, so i ended up welding two approx 4 foot peices of rebar on the inside of the remaining part at 3:00 and 9:00 and at the end of those rebar i welded a flat plate between the two rebar. that gave me a flat surface that i could hit with a sledge and what ya know it came out with the first pursuasive hit.

I have had the trailer for two years and hauled a lot car, truck and vans and have not had a problem, you could wield it on if you wanted.

You at very least have to be pulling the axle perfectly straight out of the hole sir, not on an angle even a tiny bit. i see alot of rust on the unit so soak the axle with PB at the diff. for 1 day 1st..
