I’ve seen other units that have a disconnect outside, is that not needed in this application because it uses a receptacle inside the home?

I am installing one and I don’t see anywhere for the unit end of the whip conduit to secure. My Traiden unit only has a plastic cover over wiring and it’s a bigger opening where wiring goes in, not a 1/2” hole or knock out for the whip.

Is the Head unit/indoor unit supposed to come out of the box under pressure with safety caps? Are you supposed to release this air in order to connect the line set? Great video Thanks.

Yes inverters, Traiden says power goes to condenser and shut off, no cord on this model. Does that sound correct to you?

Mine didn’t have the grey wire. It had a black wire for the outside unit. Does that mean I can wire it to the inside?
