Bro, it’s so awesome that you know how to do this! Could you make me a backpack battery powered laser for burning off steel oxidation? I’ll provide everything you need!

Iv been wondering how much battery power would it take to consistently run a jobsite 10 inch table saw ? Well Normal use for an hour.

I will say I like to see you do drill batteries powering a 20-inch box fan that would be a really popular conversion for people suffering from summer heat and high electric bills

Better yet.. a portable AC or window unit.

I want to power the starter on a 4 Wheeler, and lawnmower, and other stuff with my drill battery. I don't want to maintain batteries on every machine. Can these be strong enough to turn a 12v starter?

What the heck how did you do that?? That's incredible!! Great work man!

I am interested in using my Ridgid power tool batteries to provide power to my sofa and recliner. I know they make battery packs for this, but I have a few extra drill batteries. Would you be willing to help me make it work safely?

Thanks for posting I’m looking for more info on upgrading a leaf with only 3.3kw ac charging to 6.6kw. Apparently it’s a swap of the top module & requires taking the top cover off which is a pita due to the glue.

awesome video! Im doing the quad conversion possibly today. Im running 2 Milwaukee 18v to replace three 12v lead acid. I was just going to run series and a fuse. can you foresee any issues? I also have some Ryobi 40v I may try if I don't need to step them down.
@strtkempoАй бұрын
Just get a DC to DC step down converter for the 40 volt. I'm about to do the same. I just acquired 2 40v batteries. I'll be using them with ham radio equipment using a adjustable step down then to a breaker then the radio's fused line. I can run basically 15v to 12.8v with 13.8v being optimal, so I have a margin for error.

I want to power a radio with 2 20v 8ah battery's in parallel, but do I also need some sort of battery balancing? Or is this not needed? Radio runs on main 230 vac, 8 D-cell batteries or a 12V 5a auxiliary port from the car. I want to power the radio with the D-cell contact port. so I am going to hook the battery's together in parallel, then an underdischarge protection and after that a step down converter 8 to 40v dc to 12v dc 6ah Any advice?

Charge/run them with a solar panel and modify the AC frequency to give a consistent output to handle a window unit AC load. I mean you'll need to keep them cold while discharging. Try using some capacitors on the power wheel to extend recharge life, just don't blow up your kid.

Ever since I was introduced to a little Amazon battery powered fan, and different converters for making batteries fit other tools, it dawned on me that this was possible, and now I want to mod a Nerf gun to run off of these batteries. The blaster in question, the Rival Perses, runs on a 9.6volt battery pack. So if my tool batteries are 20 volt, I should just need to add a resistor to lower the flow, right..? More testing is required.

Two Makitia Batteries in series for a 36v Stereo amplifier. What is the best way to protect from over discharge? 1. Adding a 36v protection board or 2. Adding individual 12-18v protection board to each makitia adapter? Makitia states that the protection is only in the tool & not in the battery. The bms board inside the battery will not shut it down. Any suggestions?
@JavoCover Жыл бұрын
I would add a protection board with overdischarge, overload, short, etc.

Kinda interesting how if you focus and observe the discharge (may need to pause, slow down the video, or watch frames individually) sometimes it takes on the form of a double helix like a dna strip
