Can confirm this works as you see it in the video.... Arduino need to double check their program. Its a good idea to add the "includes" especially if you want to alter the "config.h" to program what certain things on Arduino board do.

Is there any information on why the audio volume send through USB is about 12db lower? Gain is set on 0db on the mixer's meters, but when USB RTN is pressed on the channel, all my devices tested register the audio at -12db. Very frustrating...

Not installing limit switches, but trying to flash or reflash config to controller & was having a problem. I'm guessing you are following the tutorial on how to flash to grbl. I am so exasperated I could spit! But thanks for the help; maybe this'll work for me. 🤷‍♂️ I can't get nothing to work right on Grbl or lightburn without getting an error message. Completely destroyed the few days off work I have! 🤦‍♂️

After 12 months my USB is no longer recognised and you can hear a loud interference noise especially on FX channels as it 'tries' but fails to connect. I am not one to open up the board and perform DIY work on the underneath. Anyone in the UK who can do this let me know otherwise it's a door stop. DO NOT BUY

Hey, Good video. I was hoping to get a response from you, but I'm considering buying one of these in the 22 version, and I'm wondering if as of today, has there been any changes to the drivers or anything to have it work any better than 4 years ago when you made this video. Am I going to be able to have all my tracks going into the computer separate on the DAW instead of how you showed it as being 1/2..3/4....... and plus how you said the eq's are bypassed in the DAW.... If that's still the case, then I think I'm going to go with the Allen and Heath version of this. That's if I can get a confirmation that it'll do what I need it to. Last person I talked to wasn't really 100% sure.... Thanks, Justin

Yeah, shockingly poor form from Harman. Mine's been back for one repair already, now it's gone again. There are so many threads and videos out there about this issue. And yet, from Harman? Nothing. Perhaps they'll sit up and take notice when somebody electrocutes themselves trying to repair it rather than shell out the crazy money for the replacement they should be getting for free.

I get why they dont code this version to write that folder "libraries". People updating to this version would lose everything in their folder if it re-writes it for an older version.

Hello, really need your help and advice! I'm considering getting this console. The issue I've seen is people commenting that when routing a track to this console, you can't feed the EQ to the track and process it through the EQ, meaning all you're left with is the faders and the effects? Is this true?? Like if I route drums into this console and mess with the EQ to my liking then print the drum track, it'll print without my EQ adjustments?? So confused.

I just got my MTK12 today and set it up so I really appreciate your video... very informative and fun. Though the MTK12 shows the same paired channels in my DAW (Mixcraft Pro Studio), when arming a channel to record, I can choose either side of a pair, so I'm not losing anything. I can choose, for example 3/4 as stereo 3/4 or as 3 for left mono and 4 for right mono (then you can pan anyway). We don't want to record everything in stereo anyway. If you record 4 stereo tracks vs 8 mono tracks, you are going to have sound collisions, whereas with 8 mono tracks these collisions can easily be avoided. I'm sort of not an expert, I focus on music. but some instruments and sounds lend themselves very well to stereo and some do not. Pads and piano - stereo. Others, probably not or maybe not. I had been using a Focusrite Scarlett 4i4 and needed more inputs, then I ran across the Soundcraft MTK12 and after a few hours, I'm certain this is going to be great... but I had the same paired channels when using that audio interface, but in Mixcraft had the same option to go mono. Anyway, thank you.
