As of this moment, I think a Deadeye can consistently out-damage a Gunslinger.

I've actually heard the opposite, that Deadeyes pull further ahead with bracelets and the level 3 set bonus. In our version (western version) in its current state, I think the damage is close, but a good Deadeye can consistently out-damage a good Gunslinger, but that's speaking from a DPS and performance ceiling perspective. I think with a less-than-optimal or average performance from both classes, a Gunslinger will out-damage a Deadeye. It's generally also considered slightly easier to reach the DPS ceiling for Gunslinger than for Deadeye. So my thoughts on this based on the current state of the western version: Average Gunslinger DPS > Average Deadeye DPS Good Deadeye DPS > Good Gunslinger DPS This was only considering PM Gunslinger and not TTH.

I actually think playing with Conviction + Judgement will make your performance worse. There aren't any combinations of skills that make running those two runes intuitive. Having to prep Conviction + Judgement before any damage skills will also cause you to lose damaging windows/opportunities (since you have to chase and kiss the boss's rear).

@@Area_lul I tried both build in Trixion 10+ times and find out that conviction+judgement provide more dps. But as you point out, I am not sure which one works better during the actual boss fight.

I'd guess around 3.5%-5%. I tested both setups 6 times each and found a 5% damage increase with the 4x3+1+2 setup with the 1300 spec, but I think I was on the higher end since I think I was critting slightly more than what would be expected.

@@Area_lul Thx for that, i tried in trixion with my alt and obtained almost the same 4-5%. Probably as an alt i will build him as a 5x3 unless i'll find a cheap 5EW jewel

I play pistoleer mostly, but 6 main skills tripod (4 shotguns, cruel tracker and quickshot) are required. I heard distance tripod for dexterous shot is a good quality of life one as well. Good 6 tripods just go for 3rd tripod of the main dmg skills

If you click the Armory link in the desc., you'll see my skills and tripods. They're all pretty set in stone, but I'll mention a few things here. For your shotgun skills (SoA, SRF, and SD), the Close Shot tripod is highly recommended in the first row, but Full Range also works well for beginners since it removes the close range 2x damage multiplier and makes the ability do full damage in its entirety. Close Shot increases the 2x multiplier's damage, hence why it is better. For Last Request, the Massive Explosion tripod in the second row is what is usually recommended and does more damage than Execution, but Execution adds a dash to the ability, adding a little more flexibility to the kit. Also, as Cadenza mentioned, the Excellent Mobility tripod on Dexterous Shot is a really nice tripod to add more mobility (makes Deadeye feel less clunky as well).

Thank you guys for the reply, i just did vykas NM on my DE and i might take the suggestion for Dex Shot as i was floor POV most of the time 😂 But yeah DE is fun and difficult, as i imagined.

Thanks for the comment and info! It's probably better to do what you are saying about the 4 lines pattern on most occasions, but considering that I was pretty overgeared, I usually don't mind risking my spacebar to get close to Argos asap to try to get a shotgun ability off.
