I so wanted to go to this show, but I was too late -- both days were sold out. The lads sounded great: tight, polished, professional, not sloppy or lazy at all.👍 And even with Noah's big belly I see there, he's still able to jump in-sync with the beat, just like the old days. 😄

What is so cool to me is that, just like Eddie, Wolfie doesn't know what he's doing. He admits he has very little knowledge of music theory or any other "formal" type of understanding of music or guitar. He just writes and plays what he wants to hear. His father always said, It's called music "theory", not music "fact". Lol. Mammoth has their own thing going on too. Very different...
@sweezyjackson49353 ай бұрын
Dont be that person. Wolfie went to an elite private school that taught him music theory. Ed said so himself in an interview the Wolfie hit a teacher for saying music has rules he needed to follow. Ed knew music too. He was a classically trained pianist. Ed just figured out how to twist music rules to fit his style.
@maniacmark19873 ай бұрын
@@sweezyjackson4935 Eddie was in fact NOT classically trained. While in is true that he took lessons, he could not actually read music. He tells this story in his Smithsonian interview available here on KZfaq where he says that his piano teacher asked him to turn the page for him as he played a piece of music. Eddie just stood there not knowing what to do, and when his teacher stopped and wondered why he was not turning the page, that was when Eddie finally told his teacher that he could not read music, in spite of the fact that he had been his teacher for several years at that point. Further, he told his teacher that he was able to learn the pieces to play simply by watching his teachers fingers as he demonstrated. His teacher was amazed. The Smithsonian interview was great, I'm so glad that Eddie agreed to participate in it, as I don't think he was known for giving very many interviews. It was great to see because he was sober and in a great spot in life. Alex and Wolf were in the audience, he mentions them several times, and also mentions Wolfgang's then yet to be released solo album
@sweezyjackson49353 ай бұрын
@@maniacmark1987 if you think evh didnt understand music theory forward and backwards then you are delusional. He knew where every note was on the fret board and piano keyboard. He knew every chord and its structure. And Wolfgang knows it too. Seek help.

No true. You can very clearly hear her voice. Her headset mic is set a lil lower than normal. Which isn’t uncommon. She’s had this issue most of the tour. But Maria doesn’t lip sync. Never has and never will.

Sadly know 😪 I only had about 30 minutes of space on my phone after Nita Stauss who I only took two Videos of but thay Opening song was 7 plus minutes. Haven't posted yet because I'm trying to figure out the name . We could see the set list pre show so I tried to get my favorite songs and then as I had some room left I just recorded others . Really did wish I recorded that one at the end of the night I had room for one more song lol 😆

Hi Kelly! Is there any chance you have the moments prior to this video where Wolf split the room in half and was having everyone yell back and forth then singled ME out and asked, "the guy in the Mammoth Pill shirt and glasses, how are YOU doing tonight"?.... which lead to me screaming my lungs out??
