On Rauta: DE made two weapon designs to go with their heavily melee-oriented Frame. One was a shotgun, one was a sword/dagger/blade thing. One was given stats and a unique effect, one was just made into a skin. And they chose the _SHOTGUN_ to be the unique weapon. As someone who _loves_ the idea of signature weapons, I will never not be salty about this bassackward decision.

wait wait wait. They almost gave the melee heavy combo frame a MELEE weapon, BUT WENT WITH THE SHOTGUN!? Yup... I just checked, that decision is entirely stupid

@@earthmaster13 Rauta adds to the combo counter because it's meant to be used with Kullervo, whose combo counter can be seen at all times. But given that it's... y'know... _ON A MELEE-ORIENTED FRAME,_ you're not gonna be swapping to your shotgun very often because you have to keep the combo counter up. Like, DE makes some stupidass decisions, but SHEESH.

vasto prime is boring at first, but please god save it for the incarnon adapter. i'm not exaggerating, despite what *some youtubers* will tell you, the vasto prime incarnon is STUPIDLYstrong. as in, its the best single target weapon in the game, and also probably the best wepaon for killing bosses like archons

good news, I have the incarnon, someone else mentioned it and it was in rotation same time they did. Sounds like im gonna have to do some build searching to get it to that point. ill cover it again... again when i get it at least near archon hunting

Couldnt quite see but you can probably double that by using the arcane that buffs secondary fire rate on a crit.

Fun fact, rauta has a combo gain count cap. 9 combo per shot with no carry over iirc. So pumping multishot doesnt do much for you if you want to increase combo count.

Kullervo with Sampotes built for heavy slam is hilarious. I just heavy slam and things die even in steel path without any melee combo stacks.

@@earthmaster13 yeah a lot of the early classic warframe weapons do. Stalker weapons, the B rifle Brothers, latron, strun, boar, lex, soma, lato, skana, even the sibear

I reccomend using gladiator set, weeping wounds, and blood rush on melees in general, but it will also help keep up with rauta combo.

That's weird about the Incarnon Bar on melee. On my switch and Steam Deck, it is present as expected. See if verifying Warframes file integrity? Seems like a file was poasibly corrupted in some way.

Gyre is great, farm her again. Put pillage on her 1 or 2. Get cathodes grace. Use nukor, cycron, amy beam weapon tbh, profit

I was loving the video, but when you said "if you want a quick, fun experience, don't touch Iceborne" WHILE playing Iceborne, and then incentivicing new players to burn the base game with defender gear????? The L-est take possible I think, because defender gear trivializes the base game, which means new players are actively taking AWAY from it and won't get to understand the game until much later, probably even leading to quitting the game because they've been stuck in super easy mode and haven't actually learned to play and now everything is seemingly 10x harder. You're just objectively wrong by saying this stuff

I see what you mean and i could have phrased it better. My intention was to say its your choice whether or not to use the defender set, but to expect it to be a difficulty spike if you try iceborne with the set being your only experience. I personally played iceborne because i wanted the full experience, if someone just wants the main story without iceborne, its their decision to play how they want. Even looking at the script now, it could have been a lot better phrased. In the future, ill try to phrase points better. I'll take the L on this one
