Douglas Lake is formed where the French Broad River meets the Nolichucky River. (The same river from David Crockett Birthplace)

Heading here next week for the first time to spend a couple weeks fishing and exploring the area. Your video was the best one I viewed that really covers the highlights of the park and surrounding area. Well done!

How in the world did you get a campsite? We live very close to Ft. Yargo and have to book months in advance if we want to camp there.
