KZfaq re-encodes the audio source, I think the quality is lost so much the difference can't be heard exactly. As well, don't we need to set our audio output in someway to properly hear the samples?

Excellent tutorial. Regarding the first tweak, the delayed signal SHOULD always be attenuated, simply because with a single source, the waveform arriving at the offside ear not only arrives a bit later, but with slightly less amplitube (due to travelling a slightly greater distance)

I've been studying Fab-filter plugins for a while now. After watching a couple of tutorials, I realized that Fab-filter Full Bundle is beyond competition. It has everything from a synthesizer to a stereo expander. Thanks to the development team, these are the best plugins!

This is simply amazing. The compare function in the analyzer is kick ass. This saves much of processing power of your brain ;-).

I've just found this series. If I'd known that Dan Worrel was doing them I would have come here sooner. I aspire to these plugins as they're so good. I have them in my wishlist on Plugin Boutique :)

what i dont understand is at 1:30 he pans all the way to the side channel in main output. i switched to mono and the signal does in fact disappear. but shouldn’t it just sum to the middle, unless it’s all PERFECTLY out of phase to cause full cancellation…?

Is there any way to do that ... without having to use your ears? Like maybe a tool I should be looking at? There's a 0% chance you're getting it exactly where you want...

Would you always put delay and reverb on a send Chanel and make it mono? (I make mainly electronic music) And how can i make a different delay time for the highs and lows with a stock plugin?

Your 'tutorial videos' are always so inspiring, which is so rare. Thank you very much for your work Dan! I'm hoping you can answer a question regarding "ducking"??😊 I rarely like it when the loudness of a kick strike heavily impacts how much the bass ducks.. sometimes i think it would even be better if the relationship was inversed (duck less for hard hits and more for soft hits). Do you have any tips for controlling the dynamics of the ducking?? I usually preprocess kick and snare in separate 'side chain channels' and limit the dynamic range of what goes into a compressor side chain. But I am guessing you might have some great tips on the matter! Anyone is ofcourse welcome to chip in on the matter 💖 Thanks again!
