Nice car John! My sister had a 56 T Bird in Turquoise and white with a ported hardtop. It too had a 312 but with a 3 speed manual. This was a nice car she had back in the mid 80’s!

I had a laser in the same color, 5 speed but a 1.8 liter. It was and still is my favorite car. It was so fun to drive and so many wonderful memories. I wish I would have seen this earlier, I would have bought it!!

Very nice-looking car. It has that 80's future car look to it. I would definitely buy one if I had the money and add some stuff to it like modern taillights and window louvers on the rear would look really nice.

Omg yes, I had a 1991 White Laser, 5 speed manual transmission, DOHC, super nice and zippy, I loved that car and the timing belt tore when i was 8 months pregnant with my first son and it was at 71,000 miles, a thousand over warranty. I bought it from a local dealer brand new and my family had bought several cars from him. So he went to bat for me with the regional manager, and explained i would be off on maternity leave so they paid to fix it when the timing belt tore and the car just quit at about 50 mph, i was only a few miles from home. I still miss that car 😂 it was the only one i ordered brand new, exactly how i wanted it.

My mother’s uncle had a Nash rambler Garage. So every time we were at my grandmothers, we would go to the garage and all the new cars. We had a 52 Nash statesman that went everywhere and anywhere. I love that old car.

I hate to keep correcting you. From what you said it sounded as if you confused the first generation hemi with the first year hemi. Yes, this is the final displacement of the first gen. hemi. However, the hemi made it's first appearance in 1951 at 331 CI and 180 HP.
