I literally listened to this twice through bro... This is pure gold. As always, I admire your openness here. I've felt those same feelings that you felt... I was embarressed to be feeling the way I was feeling. As an avid therapy-goer myself, I can't deny how impactful a good therapist has been on my life. What I love about my specific therapist is that she isn't just somebody that asks me "how are you feeling today? let's talk about that." She's constantly pushing me to find reasons why my brain is operating the way it is - at a neuropsychological level. Her and I work through very actionable steps for me to help re-wire my instincts and impressions. Therapy has been the most helpful leap of faith I've taken in the last 5 years.

I completely agree with your sentiment at 3:46... Once you break down those walls of being vulnerable, it almost becomes easier to be vulnerable than not. I'm so grateful that I've become comfortable sharing my shortcomings, because I believe that it allows me to experience being human more fully. Also, such a beautiful message at the end man. If anyone is reading this and is debating whether or not to reach out to Thomas, you absolutely must. Thomas has already inspired me in many ways and his mission will only continue to get bigger.

I don't want Candid with Cancer to end! I love this series. Regarding what you spoke about this video, I can definitely relate. I struggle with health anxiety, and COVID was very hard for me to navigate my constant feelings of panic about the virus. I also became a bit of a "recluse" and had to re-train my brain to enjoy social situations.

Grateful you're still here with us. It takes some stones to share this story. You're an inspiration.

This "Candid with Cancer" series is brilliant. I appreciate the raw, unfiltered honesty that you put into each of these episodes. My mother went through chemotherapy after her breast cancer diagnosis, and it sounds like you shared similar experiences. You're a warrior, man.

Just finished this whole thing, cover to cover... Love it brother. Honestly, that's a pretty nice gym too. WAY nicer than the one I'm lifting in. And I think you're approaching vlogs the right way... As you said, you never expected to fall into vlogging, but it's great practice to get better at speaking to a camera. I would argue that it's the best practice there is.
