Prevention can and should be on everyone’s agenda. Having cancer and if for even a fleeting moment feeling that you could have caught it sooner is a feeling I can assure you no one should ever have to live with.

I'm a cancer survivor. In October of 2019 I was diagnosed with stage three squamous cell carcinoma. In November 2019 I had a total laryngectomy. I've been cancer free since my surgery. Praise God! No chemo,no Radiation, no cancer drugs! Thank God for His Grace and Mercy!!!

I am one of those cancer deaths prevented. When I went in for my colonoscopy last year, two precancerous polyps were found and removed. My grandmother was 53, and she had to have surgery and a colonoscopy bag she had to wear. I am so grateful for the work the American Cancer Society does it overwhelms me.

The coding in Maryland and the reality of Medicare and risks and investment pools and access… it’s not the same as Florida, nor PA…. Yet… rivers flow, disease spread, smoke emanates. Economics and supply chains which is kind of difffeent than “means of production”… rights of indivuals and groups…. National amd international. Breathe ya’ll…

Before I was born… I had an aunt, my dad’s sister… she had hotchkinson disease and was being treated. Even back in the early 70’s… treatable but far different views of meds available. And, views of treatments and access to your own medical data and gender and all sorts of things. Well, my grandmother and others (I wasn’t there), didn’t really keep Day that informed…. I’m not sure of the details. She also was married and got pregnant… the doctors didn’t communicate either… When one doc or she found out about the other work… the cancer meds stopped abruptly… the a baby was born… he had been effected…. My amazing cousin (whom I did his eulogy when he passed in his 20’s)… and my aunt passed away before I was alive. I’m not a medical historian…. There are so many wonderful people involved in stuff like this and defining them is a precarious kind of thing. But, meds are better now… how did that happen? There’s still much work to do…. How do we view a person’s body and mind and issues of control? Lanes and beyond. It’s a lot to take in. I also, try to be very careful about what I share and don’t. Access to information and missions and agendas radiate rapidly. Breathe ye’ll…

What is cancer and how does it relate to other disciplines? Translations over time and space… why would I want to foster a permeable and caring… yet “thick” skin… with those whom I am charged with and am also grateful for serving and leading and providing for? This reality has also cost me in some ways and also… my gainful employment needs and beyond. But, leadership and helping amidst complex and tough situations are very real and very connnecyed issues.

I’ve been pooping blood for about a year now. not just like a little either if you’ve ever had a nose bleed that wouldn’t just stop it’s like that this morning I almost pooped myself after waking up and standing, rushed to the toilet blood / diarrhea hard to explain the uncomfort but definitely wasn’t comfortable coming out more of an abdominal pain I had a colonoscopy like 7 months ago haven’t been back to the doctor since but as far as that went he couldn’t see anything but a couple polyps I’m having trouble finding out what’s wrong with me and am now out of insurance :( I’m 21 any ideas or someone with relatable symptoms other symptoms I have would be mucus with my poo the pooping blood has been going on for a full month straight this time every time I poo doesn’t hurt wouldn’t even know it was happening If it wasn’t excessive enough to make me dizzy bowel habits all over the place sometimes I won’t poo for a day

The basic particle that constitutes a chemical element is the atom" [An Element Is a Protein = Evolutionary, As Sediment, As "Mass"]: [Atom Definition] "An atom is the basic building block of chemistry. It is the smallest unit into which matter can be divided without the release of electrically charged particles. It also is the smallest unit of matter that has the characteristic properties of a chemical element": "Atoms are the basic particles of the chemical elements. An atom consists of a nucleus of protons and generally neutrons, surrounded by an electromagnetically bound swarm of electrons. The chemical elements are distinguished from each other by the number of protons that are in their atoms" [An Atom Is a Protein]: [Molecule Definition] "Molecules are formed when two or more atoms are connected by chemical bonds. The word molecule comes from the Latin word molecula, which means "a unit of mass": [Hydrogen Definition] "Hydrogen is a chemical element; it has symbol H and atomic number 1. It is the lightest element and, at standard conditions, is a gas of diatomic molecules with the formula H₂, sometimes called dihydrogen, but more commonly called hydrogen gas, molecular hydrogen or simply hydrogen": "a colorless, odorless, highly flammable gas, the chemical element of atomic number 1": [Etymology] "late 18th century: coined in French from Greek hudro- ‘water’ + -genēs (see -gen)": [Radium Definition] "Radium (chemical symbol Ra) is a naturally occurring radioactive metal": "When radium decays, it emits α-particles and turns into radon": [Radon Definition] "Radon is a radioactive gas that forms naturally when uranium, thorium, or radium, which are radioactive metals break down in rocks, soil and groundwater": "Radon is a chemical element; it has symbol Rn and atomic number 86. It is a radioactive noble gas and is colorless and odorless. Of the three naturally occurring radon isotopes, only radon-222 has a sufficiently long half-life for it to be released from the soil and rock where it is generated": "Radon's atom is larger than hydrogen's. This is because atom size increases as you move down in the periodic table and radon is positioned much lower than hydrogen. Oct 31, 2023": "Radioisotopes are radioactive isotopes of an element. They can also be defined as atoms that contain an unstable combination of neutrons and protons, or excess energy in their nucleus": "Radium (chemical symbol Ra) is a naturally occurring radioactive metal": "When radium decays, it emits α-particles and turns into radon" = Radon Is a Condension/"Burn-Off" Radio-Active Radiation "By-Product" of Radium: [Radiation & Radio-Activity = (Current) Electricity] "Radiation is energy that comes from a source and travels through space and may be able to penetrate various materials": "Radioactivity is a physical, not a biological, phenomenon": "Radioactivity is the release of energy from the decay of the nuclei of certain kinds of atoms and isotopes. Atomic nuclei consist of protons and neutrons bound together in tiny bundles at the center of atoms": "Radioactive decay is the process by which an unstable atomic nucleus loses energy by radiation. A material containing unstable nuclei is considered radioactive. Three of the most common types of decay are alpha, beta, and gamma decay": [Radi-Activity = Condension = Tumor Formation] "radiation can cause condensation, also known as radiation condensation or vapor condensation. This process occurs when radiation causes ionization, which then creates a locally attractive nucleation site. The charge separation can happen in the gas containing the vapor, the vapor itself, or on a surface accessible to the vapor": [Radicalism Definition] "a radical, also known as a free radical, is an atom, molecule, or ion that has at least one unpaired valence electron": "molecule that contains at least one unpaired electron": "Free radicals are chemical species (atoms, molecules, or ions) containing one or more unpaired electrons in their external orbitals and generally display a remarkable reactivity. Apr 23, 2020": [Protein Definition] "Proteins are essential nutrients for the human body. They are one of the building blocks of body tissue and can also serve as a fuel source. As a fuel, proteins provide as much energy density as carbohydrates: 4 kcal per gram; in contrast, lipids provide 9 kcal per gram": "Proteins are large, complex molecules that play many critical roles in the body. They do most of the work in cells and are required for the structure, function, and regulation of the body's tissues and organs. Mar 26, 2021": 😶. Respectively. Tanika Nakeya Lewis, 6127

(2/2) [Prions Definition = Protein Particulate] "Prions are protein-based genetic elements that alter cellular phenotypes by changing protein conformation. They are nonchromosomal and lack nucleic acids. Prions are responsible for rare neurodegenerative disorders in animals and humans": "Prions are abnormally folded proteins that lack DNA. They replicate by causing other normally folded proteins to rearrange themselves into a misfolded structure. The misfolded proteins accumulate in the brain, eventually leading to tissue damage and resulting neurological clinical signs and deficits": "A prion is a misfolded protein that can induce misfolding of normal variants of the same protein and trigger cellular death. Prions cause prion diseases known as transmissible spongiform encephalopathies that are transmissible, fatal neurodegenerative diseases in humans and animals": "High prion protein (PrP) levels are associated with breast, colon and gastric cancer resistance to treatment and with a poor prognosis for the patients. Mar 12, 2013": "Prions are remarkable, enigmatic pathogens that are quite different than most disease-causing entities. According to the prion hypothesis, prions are infectious agents devoid of instructional nucleic acid. Feb 19, 2015": "prions are pathogens. Prions are protein-based infectious particles that cause transmissible spongiform encephalopathies (TSEs). They are different from most disease-causing entities because they lack instructional nucleic acid": "Prions propagate by transmitting a misfolded protein state. When a prion enters a healthy organism, it induces existing, properly-folded proteins to convert into the disease-associated, prion form; it then acts as a template to guide the misfolding of more proteins into prion form. Dec 24, 2022" [Patho-Genesis] "many pathogens contain DNA, including viruses, bacteria, and bacterial viruses. DNA is the genetic material of pathogens, and contains instructions that allow pathogens to attack, reproduce, and move to new hosts": "Viruses have a small genome, made up of a single nucleic acid type-either DNA or RNA-which, in either case, may be single-stranded or double-stranded. The genome is packaged in a protein coat, which in some viruses is further enclosed by a lipid envelope": [Cancer & Carcino-Genesis] "A disease in which abnormal cells divide uncontrollably and destroy body tissue": "The process by which normal cells are transformed into cancer cells": [Radiation Therapy] "Radiation therapy works by damaging the DNA of cancer cells, causing them to stop growing or die. The damaged cells are then broken down and removed by the body. Radiation therapy can take days or weeks to damage DNA enough to kill cancer cells, and cancer cells can continue to die for weeks or months after treatment ends": [Radiation Neutralization] "In a water sufficient environment, wash patients/victims (or have patients/victims wash themselves) with tepid water and soap, without damaging or abrading the skin. Add mild soap (neutral pH) to water to emulsify and dissolve contamination": dish soap can be used to clean surface contamination from radioactive waste. Other products that can be used for this include: window cleaner, vinegar, bubble bath, waterless hand cleaner, and oven cleaner: "chlorination technique can be a promising option for the decontamination of radioactive concrete waste": [Leaching Definition] "Leaching is the process by which constituents of a solid material are released into a contacting water phase": "In agriculture, leaching is the loss of water-soluble plant nutrients from the soil, due to rain and irrigation. Soil structure, crop planting, type and application rates of fertilizers, and other factors are taken into account to avoid excessive nutrient loss": [Soap Function] " Soap cleans and sanitizes by removing dirt, oil, microbes, bacteria, and viruses from the skin's surface: When a soap molecule ruptures, essential proteins spill into the water, killing bacteria and rendering viruses useless. Soap can also disrupt the chemical bonds that allow bacteria, viruses, and grime to stick to surfaces: "lukewarm water and soap is best for decontaminating people, while hot water can open pores and cold water can close them": [Metal Oxidation] "soap and water can remove metal particles". 😶.
