I still use my Sierra pedals from the 90’s, Atac cleats are more or less compatible but the original cleats with the Sierra shoes are much easier to clip and unclip but unavailable nowadays. I also use the Atac pedals, but imo the Sierra’s where superior!

I’ve been running allium since 2000. They have never been apart and have never loosened up.

The Gen1 and Aliums are the clear favourites for longevity. However, a good set of Aliums should outlast the owner.....those aluminium bodies should last forever!

Just serviced some first version Time ATAC. It was quite easy to replace the bearing. Great informative content

Good stuff! As long as the arms & bodies are in reasonable shape, you'll get another 25 years out of them!
