My husband does not do KZfaq so I am commenting for him. He said this video deserves an Emmy award. The video is to the point and thorough. My husband says thank you!

It's funny, I do it exactly as you demonstrate yet rarely get a break on the scored line. It's extremely frustrating, to say the least.

This unit sucks. The brackets bend very easily when your boat rubs against them.

What size drill bit did you use ?

Just purchased one of these and the lid barely fits around the griddle top. Not even close to big enough to get over the brackets. Have you ever heard of this?

You go to great lengths to avoid regret and I find that inspiring. Thank you for confirming where the oil drain is/isn't. I had already stared intently at that bolt and ruled it out saying "it's a trick!" If it weren't for you I'd still be searching the bottom of the engine in vain. Also thanks for confirming what sort of oil "should" go into the engine and what quantity. When I bought my walk behind string trimmer (with a DV173 engine) in 2022, the manual barely explained anything. It's such a relief to see the exact same engine in this video. Thanks for being so thorough with the details. The pacing of the video is perfect!

Pro tip: when a need to cross under a concrete walk or driveway, use. 3/4” diameter electrical conduit the runs the width of the concrete walk or driveway. Glue a PCV male and female fitting at each end that will accommodate a hose fitting and sweeper nozzle. Turn o. Water to full pressure and use to water jet your way under the concrete. The soil will disperse as you push the p,aspic electrical pipe back and forth until you reach past the other side. Cut off fitting on each end and run your desired wire through the conduit.

An alcohol burner would also work well with the hinge pot stand.

Amazing diy, explained very well. But my question is if I wanted to add a check valve where and how would I place it? For whenever I do maintenance or for whatever reason the pump turns off.

It's extremely significant. I'm wishing I would have done this years ago. I can keep it in the low 70's when it's in the 90's outside. it was 68F yesterday in the shop and 86F outside.
