Mine blew with a trailer full of animals in a clients driveway 3 hrs from home at 10pm with no parts stores open. Next morning now, about to get after it. Great video and attitude friend.

I’ve been searching for the same solution and I’m glad I came across this video. It looks like a very simple pump construction that I could make myself, thanks for the idea. I think I know why I haven’t seen this pop up in a Google search and maybe it’s not that popular because of the whopping price tag! $400, no way I’ll ever buy one! Great video minus the irritating music😉

The background music is a distraction. And your voice gets drowned out by it at times. I would have enjoyed your video a whole lot more if you kept the music out. When giving instructions why have music background? I want to hear the important stuff. I’m not eating in a expensive restaurant in joying a meal. I’m trying to concentrate my hears to your info. Music just draws me away from what I want to hear. Just my two thoughts on the matter.

Nice video. Thank you much. After a bit of a learning curve, it seems to me this EPP place is charging an awful lot of money for what amounts to a foot valve and some PVC. Theres DIY vids out there that are much much cheaper than the EPP handpump system. Or you could save yourself a bunch of money by getting some rope and a piece of PVC if an emergency happens.

Am sure you have figured out by now to lift the ends of the logs with the 3ph and have better traction as well as keep the logs cleaner. At least, hitch them up shorter to the pull point.

So a year later, how do you like this mod? Considering this for my e99. I know the debate and would like a cold air intake, but this is a good bit cheaper. I've watched my intake air temp running the stock box and it does increase sitting in traffic so it's not insulating from the heat. My theory is when moving the hot air is pushed away and the incoming air won't be that hot. Have to do it to find out.

Mine busted last week was pouring fluid out after backing up to my trailer. Brakes were gone also and I live in steep NC MTNS glad it happened in my yard and not on road trip I was leaving for etc It was a blessing actually tearing into it soon after battery Box etc removed Thanks for info.

Take and back your tractor closer to your loge and lower your 3 point and tie your strap up close. So when you lift your 3 point it will raise your logs so they are not digging.

I'm a little bit lost. 🤔 This filter is bigger, ok, but it's drawing in hot engine air now. The stock box routed cold ram air from the grille area. Even if I were gifted this filter "kit" for free I wouldn't use it. There are better aftermarket options that increase filter throughput while shielding it from hot air and also use the stock cold air route. You spent money on a performance downgrade here. I know there's no Dyno to test before and after results, but unless physics are paused indefinitely, I don't see how this is an upgrade.
@baptistlion40604 ай бұрын
They keep the hood opened for extra forced ram air. Yeah I agree with you. Gale banks would be upset with this mod. Especially because he has a cold air intake kit he sells but idk

lf you plan on skidding any more logs, you might build or buy a small log arch to make moving your logs easier & wont gouge up your ground as much. Just an idea.

The music in your video is very distracting and unrelated to what you're doing. I know some people would rather hear the sounds of nature around you instead of the music. I cannot watch your videos because of that music!
@buckhunter13785 ай бұрын
Agree, but I turn the volume down. The music doesn't fit the job. ;
@TF8568 ай бұрын
I think it would be easier to drag those if you left them full length without limbs then he could cut them the lengths that he wants. Use a long rope to pull them out of the denser areas. You could probably drag a hundred of those logs with that tractor. You are wasting time, money, energy fuel, etcetera, dragging such small amounts each time!

Just a thought. When I first built I got a tip from a house framer : when you hit nails and they bend often, just rough up the hammer face by rubbing on concrete so this limits that. I found that I needed to do this often. I admire the recycle, reuse and repurpose practice. Keep at it as it’s a great learning experience.
