Instead of buying chocolate Krispie squares, can mix melted chocolate with cereal of choice and add things like colourful smarties

they go crunchy when dehydrated and my kids love them like that. they also melt great into hot chocolate. you can also powder them in a coffee grinder and use in coffee, hot chocolate and cereal. they are really addictive xx

That really is the epitome of every bit counts. =) I don’t know if this will work for you, or appeal as an option, but I have found that I can label what I’m drying with a sharpie (permanent marker) on the outside of each tray. The labels then wipe off easily with a magic eraser type sponge.

That's not usually a problem. The flat side of a table knife, a little push with your thumb, dump it out, heat, and enjoy.
