Ok, cool, now compare waterdamage and the wear of the discs / chain. ALso overall costs for the machines, chain and discs.

Hi 👋, I have had both, but the Stihl version, I use the cut and brake on a twin solid brick wall, and I didn’t know, but it got Rebar inside it, It was a beginning, I’m a barn conversion , the barn was being used for storing grain, the whole I was trying to cut who is roughly 4 foot wide and 8 foot high, two of us all day or about six hours, time we got set up and cleaned up afterwards, The plunge saw Stihl was used twice to cut a window opening in a granite wall over in France in an old Mill, this was an excellent bit of kit. Didn’t quite manage to get through the hole in one cut had to go from both sides., whilst cleaning out a hole to put a tie been in the chain snapped, however, I did manage to get it repaired, I had both tools for approximately two years, but whilst I was away from site in France in 2019 December, I had both of them stolen, plus I don’t have all the kit, I lost approximately €15,000 of tools one was a big ride on lawnmower, Only thing I wish is the chainsaw was longer so you can go through anyone cut from One Direction , I’m now retired, living in France , Phil from the moulin France,

@@aysarotallah1802 the oil change on the CBK the process is the same. The small difference is the amount of oil used for the arm transmission. For the CBK, when changing the oil, it takes 300ml of the 690 oil.

How much quarts do you need for gear box oil?
@ICSDiamondToolsandEquipment11 ай бұрын
There are different amount requirements depending on which saw you have. For all Merit Saws, we recommend 85-140 Lucas Brand Oil Medium Duty saws (350/400 series models) 2 quarts Heavy Duty saws (600/800 series models) 600 series 3.5 quarts 800 series 4.5 quarts (due to the difference in shaft length) Please note: Before adding oil, be sure to level the gearbox to the ground - to do this, place a level on the top of the gearbox and raise/lower the saw until it's level with the ground. Pour slowly to allow oil to pass through bearing and center housing evenly. If you pour too quickly, it will overflow and you will not have added enough oil. Use the side plug on the gearbox to ensure enough oil has been added - remove the plug and when the oil reaches the bottom of the hole on the open plug, you've added the correct amount of oil.

How much compression should it have?
@ICSDiamondToolsandEquipment Жыл бұрын
Hello, I am not sure what you mean by "compression". It requires 20psi of water supply and 2gpm of water flow - the water is required to lubricate, cool the chain and remove slurry and reduce chain stretch.

What is the recommended oil filter to use for maintenance?
@ICSDiamondToolsandEquipment Жыл бұрын
For the M400-50G, the engine oil filter, the Kubota part number is: HH160-32093 and the M600-61G the engine oil filter is Kubota part number HH164-32430. These can be found through your local Kubota engine distributor or Kubota tractor dealer.

Hello Amador - When an abrasive chainsaw is used in the trench, less excavation is required because the length of the bar offers increased cutting depth - and also allows the operator to remain stationary and make a top-to-bottom cut with more control. By cutting from the top of the pipe with our tool, we virtually eliminate the possibility of kickback. Keeping your team and you safer in the trench.

I can only recommend to use MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH more water than what's shown here for the ICS. Terrible chain and bar life. But sometimes, it's the only tool that will do ... The guy who does the Cut & Break, is clearly not the fastest on earth ...
@christopherw45272 жыл бұрын
I've had a bunch of bad reports about the 680. About fifty percent of the buyers are having a hard time keeping the saw running while cutting in the horizontal position. This is regardless of the maintenance done on the power head. The 695 is a much better saw, but way more expensive.
@justinrichmond90572 жыл бұрын
If someone else is paying for the consumables, I'll take the chainsaw. If I'm the one who has to pay for the consumables, then I'll go with the cut-n-break.
