Hi, Did your exported EXR files become 16bit? Because when I export the files to EXR they are not 32 bit anymore. That is a big problem for editing and I cant remember this have been mentioned in the video that exported EXR are not 32 bit anymore.

For frame interpolation, use optical flow in Davinci Resolve.

Everything works perfect for me until acually importing the my google model into blender. it gives me an error message. "Failed to load the RenderDoc Module".

If you press F2 it would be easer to see it on the model. Red selected polygon won't bother you.

What are those descs you have?

Davinci operates on EXRs directly (you can import them and compose/de-compose in Fusion section) which is crucial in 3D. Besides, with all AI crap recently going on with microsoft/adobe (they're going to take screenshots of your work to train their AI models), I entirely switched to Linux. I don't use Max anymore, kinda miss it for destructive polymodeling but there are other 3D areas I'm focused on right now, I have no regrets then How about you, what do you think about this whole AI invasive policy from those companies?

it worth to mention about the Blackmagic Fusion which allow You to composite and merge 3d animations and 2d layers. Could You create a video about that?

The Resolve feature you point out in Resolve at 7:12 can be done in Premiere as well, it's called Slipping

Adding a cross devolve in Premiere is easy with their short cut - CMD+D (or CTRL+D on Windows)

After Adobe announced they now spy on you and train their AI, I will gladly use DaVinci, it has better color grading functions, it’s faster, and oh, ITS FREE! Most Hollywood studios also use DaVinci.

I coudln´t agree more with every point you mentioned in this video! I switched to DaVinci about 2 years ago and I would NEVER go back to Premiere and After Effects. I love its node system, the speed and the workflow! Not sure if they´ve changed it in the meantime but when I was still studying at university (we had 2 bigger projects where we worked in a group) we had major problems in After Effects with some export formats cause they simply weren´t supported and we had to convert the exported file again with a different tool to bring the file into the desired format. Over the last months I´ve also been using Affinity Photo more often than Photoshop cause Photoshop is a pain in the arse when working with larger .exr-files. It´s SO slow, even on very powerful machines! Affinity on the other hand is super fast! Imo there are still some things missing in Affinity Photo but they´re getting there 🙂. So yea, I´m slowly moving away from the whole Adobe CC which I´m very happy about. Their costs are way too high for what they offer imo, also compared to the alternatives like DaVinci as a substitute for After Effects/Premiere and Affinity as a substitute for Photoshop. And sure, you could argue that you get more software for the monthly sub if you pay Adobe but let´s be honest.. Who uses all of the programs you get with the subscription? Like, Adobe Firefly, Adobe Scan, etc... You pretty much pay for stuff you don´t need with your monthly fee.
