Cheyanne is a great bow. It has the best grip, is very light, and reduced length makes it more practical.

They are beautiful knives with great fit and finish but only use them for soft vegetables on a soft cutting board, the uhc edge is way to brittle, maybe the tempering has changed for the better. I chipped the edge while boning out an elk. I re sharpened the edge and had to make some kindling and notch some wood, the pine wood turned the edge into what looked like a saw blade. It does get a scary sharp edge but it's a fragile one. l keep mine for sentimental reasons but if you are going to hunt stick with something you can rely on no matter what circumstances you may encounter.

I have an early made one and my experience has been good so far with green wood working and light batoning, no issues and the edge is still fine.

On their website you can read about handling with UHC, you better not use them with bones or similar hard materials

Hi, I want to buy Roselli Carpenter, but cant decide between UHC and standard model. Can you please tell me whats your experience with those knives? Which one is better by your oppinion? I know that UHC is harder and may stay sharp longer, but I also read on some forums that UHC blade is very brittle and can break easily, is it true? Whats your experience? Thank you in advance for answer.

It's great that you have great knife and great Belgian coticule but com on when you sharpening scandi grind you don't want to convex it! Keep both hands on bevel and press edge to the stone and you will get great result.

This particular knife has a convexed scandi on it from the manufacturer. So he did the absolut correct thing right there.
