Well done. I like the unique concept, and the film kept me engaged. The distinctively metal aesthetic of this one was conveyed really well through the set and costume design, and especially the music. The body horror design was awesome, and the cinematography helped sell it for the most part, especially in the ending. If I were to choose one aspect of the film to improve on the most, I’d say the sound design. The fighting was pretty well coreographed, but I felt like it was kind of held back by not adding some louder sound effects to make things more PUNCHY and VISCERAL. Having a noticeable BUMP as someone hits a wall or a sharp PING! as a bat hits a wall could really elevate and sell the experience more. At points of the film, such as when the scientist was getting brutally melted by the chemicals, I felt that the sound design should’ve spoke for itself more than the music, because the music was louder than everything else and it kind of overshadowed the actual sounds of death. Anyhow, I really enjoyed watching this regardless, good job!

Thanks so much for your feedback! I'm glad you enjoyed the short! I did most of the sound design and mixing, and 100% agree with you. Sound was definitely the biggest challenge for me during the editing. There are things that definitely could have been better, but I did the best I could with the resources and time I had available. I learned a lot though and will take those lessons with me onto the next project.
