@@IamAdrianb no less than 2 days but could be 2-6 days just depends if you have someone to help you, the right equipment and if everything behaves like it should. You can also do this same process but mold the acrylic over the existing lenses. Is a little harder but less risky

@@alexsimon3041 don’t see why not. It’s definitely a process and is different for each light as different shapes mean more time and new challenges but I think it’s worth a shot. Essentially if you build them over your existing lens then if you can’t build them for any reason it’s no harm done

I believe it was 2” that I used! And you can find seats from UTVs for sale on fb for like $50! They arent the best of course but could work!

Does it stink while it's running? I'm willing to bet at this point this is largely a fuel quality issue. If its more than 6 months old try draining it and adding a couple gallons of fresh fuel with the correct proportion of injector cleaner in it, and try to purge as much old fuel out of the lines/fuel rail as you can. Check your plugs, because they're probably dirty and/or fouled (maybe throw a cheap set at it until you can cycle some fresh fuel through it). Modern fuel turns into a sludge and could be partially clogging the injectors and fouling spark plugs.

Thanks! The fuel should be good, just because we dropped the gas tank cleaned it out cleared all the lines, and fuel rail, new fuel filter, damper all that then added gas and have been trying for a few months now. Just trying everything in between haha but I appreciate the advice! Still will probably be good to try and use newer fuel again as it’s been a few months now since we emptied the tank

just fyi that's a afm not a maf. it sounds to me like it has a mis or two so noid light the injectors and check for spark with an inline spark tester if you haven't done that already. if any injectors are wet with gas thats a good indicator that cylinder is flooded. I don't know all you have done to it but those are two big ones that will cause a mis 9/10 times. also replace fuel filter. if you havent. I would check the compression as well, if any are low you can try valve cleaning sea foam, these engines have a ton of carbon buildup. these cars can be a real handful I've had my go around and have sunk hundreds into mine with little return on investment. but if you are persistent you can get it brother, good luck.

not injectors, but spark plugs* wet with gas. make sure you can read plugs that can help diagnosing engine problems alot.

Thanks I appreciate that! Unfortunately I have gone through testing spark, compression, fuel filter and pretty much the entire fuel system. Buuut I checked the timing chain and it did in fact jump timing so I’m currently taking everything apart to adjust the timing chain and make sure it’s where it needs to be!

why don't you do a copy of lens instead of the housing?

If we took the lens off and tried copying it using this method the lens would more than likely crack/snap during the process. If you mean why not do it to the light while the lens is still on, we did that on my buddy’s 370z there’s a video up of that. For the most part it works doing it that way too!

It looks clean. Where i am from. Infiniti is like the main car people tune and honestly it gets really old, really fast. This is cleaner than most, probably anything I’ve seen in a long time. Hopefully no air bubbles.
